Review: I bought this Red Truck multi-pedal recently and have used it extensively. I have to say the effects for the most part are very useful, very user friendly! The Pure Boost, Overdrive and distortion section are all pretty righteous! The reverb and the delay are quite versatile and sound really pretty good. The Mod section is an “ ok “ effect, not useless but just not as lush as I’d like to hear. One thing to note, the tempo tap button affects the reverb, delay and mod time so you need to find a happy medium for those three pedals so as to not go into some bizarre sonic landscape. Having been playing professionally for a long time, and played tru practically every pedal out there, this is a cool alternative. For example 1->2->3->4->5->6 or 1->4->2->5->3->6 ?** A: Nope, we can't change the order of pedal routing. you can easily change the order by pedal cable. **Q: Does this have a live mode/preset mode like the Red Truck does?** A: The answer to that is Yes it does. It's in the same spot as in the Mooer red truck. **Q: Can I use this with the powerstage 170?** A: Yes. The powerstage 170 is a power amp, so you'll probably want to use the built in EQ of the Black Truck with it (although not required). It would be the same as running the Black Truck directly through the FX loop of an amp with a 2 cable setup. **Q: So i could set five different sounds? Clean, rythm, leads, ext? And have em at the push of a button?** A: Yes. Problem is the settings are not completely digital. Sounds great and no hum. I recently returned the Gokko mx300 because it had a very noticeable hum. There is no hum with the red truck. Works perfect. Only issue is a couple knobs are a little tight (but function properly).
