Scouts Mens Shirt

Very pleased with this shirt. The fabric feels comfortable and breathable, and the fit is true to size. The colour looks great in person and hasn’t faded after washing. It works well for both casual and smart occasions, and the overall quality is better than I expected for the price. A well-made shirt that looks smart and feels comfortable all day. Would happily buy another in a different colour.

Was worried I had gotten the right size as the size guide isn’t brilliant, my son measured 30 inch chest and back.Xs fits him well, is nice and thick for the winter and outdoor exploring, unsure if it’s great for summer, could really do with adjustable sleeves that can be buttoned up to make a short sleeve.

This does come up quite large. My son is average 10. (Nearly 11) year old and there's plenty of growing room in the body and sleeves. I wonder about the collar though as it's not as generous. The shirt itself is. A good quality, quite thick material. My only issue with it is that the buttons are quite stiff and tricky to do but hopefully they'll ease over time. I compared it with his friend's whose was bought from the official shop and they're the same bar the label inside.

Great quality but fit was not easy to figure out so adding this in for future buyers:my 150cm tall 11 year old boy (average weight) needed a Small (XS was too tight). The suggested sizing was not matching up and all.

This is the official scout shirt for boys. It is lovely and think with the official scout emblem.I initially ordered the XXS size for my average height 10 year old. This fit him well except the sleeves which were too short. Therefore I ordered him the XS which is a bit big on him but will last.Here are the actual sizes of the shirts (approx.):XXS Shirt:length 25"arm (from shoulder joint) 20.25"neck 15"chest 36"XS Shirt:length 28"arm (from shoulder joint) 21.25"neck 16"chest 38"

This version of the 'official' scout shirt seems to be on par with the 'small' version of the Scout Shop version. Both are very much on the 'Large' size. Have returned this to replace with the XX-Small for my 10 soon to be 11 year old son. He isn't a big kid, but isn't too small, but this shirt swamped him - infact it fits my wife!Ths shirt itself looks to be good quality and has the official scout logo on the sleeve. A good quality heavy cotton, just a shame it's sizings aren't particularly heklpful.

This is a good quality thick shirt. However the sizing is totally misleadind. My son is 10 years old so I ordered a medium and it would have fitted an average / large grown male. It was too big for my nephew who is 20 and about 5ft 11! What they don't tell you is that all the sizes are adult sizes. I returned it for an extra, extra smal ( the smallest size available )l which was a perfect fit. Amazon should make this clear in their sizing information, i'm sure a lot of people have made the same mistake as me.

Ordered X-Small, received Small. Much too big for my son but didn't have time to send it back and have a new one sent before he had to go on a scout trip. Disappointing.
