Trifecta Crop Control Super Concentrate All-in-One Natural Pesticide, Fungicide, Miticide, Insecticide, Help Defeat Spider Mites, Powdery Mildew, Botrytis, Mold, and More on Plants 16 OZ

Got rid of scales on marijuana plants. Used mainly for scales. They were terrible the year before, but I kept ahead of them this year & once I started spraying Trefecta they disappeared. Scales breathe through their hard shell & oils will coat it so they can no longer breath. Yea! Anyway, they're gone & haven't come back. Sprayed on 1 plant that was flowering about 3 weeks before harvest, but not after that. The essential oils that are in it are strong smelling & I didn't want it to influence the flowers' smell or taste. I wasn't very long before I could not notice any smell of the Trifecta & after 3 weeks there was no trace. And the scales were gone! Two other plants that were not in flower got 2 each treatments & if I don't find anymore scales will not spray them again. It's certainly organic, works well, & the smell dissipates kwickly. However, don't spray too close to harvest. It's pricey, but loss of my girls to those d#*m scales or mites or aphids is even more so!Of note: I regularly use Capt Jack, Monterey BT, as well as Trifecta & my observations have been that I use what I have mixed within 24 hours & dispose of the rest. Some may have a short shelf life after mixing & by mixing new as needed, I know the mix hasn't expired. Also, continue to shake during application. Happy growing!

I grow quite a few herbs and veggies in my basement, primarily from seed. Until about a year ago, I had never seen insects or mites of any kind on my plants until I bought some pineapple sage from a commercial grower. Shortly after getting these plants, I saw the telltale webbing of spider mites on these plants. Initially, I bought the 1 quart spray bottle of the Trifecta spray that did kill the mites, but didn't eggs. In less than a week, I saw the spider mite webbing again. So, of course, 1 quart of this spray wasn't going to eliminate the mites. Then I bought the gallon bottle of this spray for $65, and cringed at the price. After using 2 gallons of the ready-to-use spray, the pineapple sage plants had gotten so large, I couldn't control the mites. At this point, I disposed of the sage plants, but recently found the mites had spread to my cherry tomato and pepper plants. Since I have a few of these plants and they have been very productive, I didn't want to dispose of all of them. So, I did some research.I found that white spider mites have a life span of only 2 to 4 weeks, it takes only 3 days for eggs to hatch, most of the mites are female, and a female can reach full development and lay eggs in 5 days. A female mite can lay 20 eggs per day, so one female can lay quite a few eggs in her short lifetime. If you do the math, it doesn't take long for an infestation to develop.The directions on this insecticide says to spray every 3 days. Judging from what I found on the life cycle of spider mites, this gives eggs more time to hatch and develop since they are all doing their thing every day and not necessarily on the same day. In my opinion, for spider mites, you would need to spray every day to kill the mites as they hatch and not give them a chance to lay more eggs. To spray less often will control them, but it will not eliminate them.Buying this concentrate for $150 does save money over buying the ready-to-use version, but read the directions on the pictures on the product page. Although the 32 ounce bottle of the concentrate will make 64 gallons of spray using 1/2 ounce/gallon, this strength is recommended only for preventative maintenance. If you have an infestation, meaning you have them but not to the point of massive webbing, you need to use 2 ounces per gallon which means this bottle will make 16 gallons of spray when mixed. For a severe infestation, 4 ounces per gallon is suggested which means this bottle will make only 8 gallons of spray. Even when using at 4 ounces/gallon, the cost for the ready to use would be $520, so the price of $150 for the 32 ounce bottle of the concentrate still saves money.I have been using this concentrate at 2 ounces/gallon, and have been successful in killing and controlling the spider mites on my plants. At this point, I am spraying my plants every other day, and it seems to be working. My plants look healthy, and I am not seeing any evidence of live mites.At least for spider mites, I would definitely recommend this concentrated formula, but you need to be diligent in spraying to kill mites as they hatch before they can lay more eggs. I believe anyone who has reported this spray doesn't work has not considered the life cycle of the pest they are dealing with.I hope this review was helpful for you. It looks lije a large container for refills but it's a concentrate for 1 bottle.Decieving..

You can't get rid of powdery mildew, all you can do is abate it. But this stuff has worked well at keeping it under control for me. I've tried many other sprays, milk, neem oil, even way too concentrated h2o2 to the point it burned leaves. None of them really worked.Been using Trifecta for about about 3 weeks. Sprayed heavy at first, now doing more regular concentration. Spraying a lot. Getting in between every nook and cranny, stems, sides of grow tent, everything. Also, have been doing it during light cycle and not seeing any detrimental effect, no burning / leaf damage whatsoever. Now I spray every few days, occasionally see a tiny bit of mildew pop up bit rarely.I don't love the idea of using this stuff on my consumables but since I needed to do something to save the crop, this does work and doesn't have any nasty remaining smell or residue (like neem and similar sprays).Seems like other reviews mention it not working on mites etc and maybe that's the case, but I know it works for me on PM, when I couldn't get effective results from any other sprays.

I wish they would have listed the mixing instructions on their advertisement for infestations. 4oz makes 1 gallon.

I had a spider mite infestation take out quite a few precious plants to me before I was able to find an effective treatment for the monsters!I found a normal level of this product and fell in love with it.As soon as that worked I ordered this super concentrate because of the insane value vs the diluted form.Absolutely love this product, and I've even had some success with it on some scale bugs!Never really had problems with mold/mildew, but the few times a fuzzy has ever shown up this stuff was already around and worked for those too as promised.Really nothing bad to say about this stuff.
