These suspenders are great. The clips are all metal, and there are no obvious cheap parts. They attach easily to a duty belt, and do a great job redistributing the weight of your gun belt, making it significantly more comfortable.If you have sciatica, these suspenders will take the majority of the weight off your hips. For me, this produced a pretty significant relief for lower back/sciatica pain.They are adjustable, and the adjustment process is pretty easy, so you can really fiddle with the straps and get them "just right".The suspenders themselves are made out of webbed nylon, so they dont stretch or wear in. Just adjust them once and you're good to go.My set came with a set of shoulder pads attached. I ultimately just took the pads off, because I had a hard time fitting the pads nicely under my outer carrier. I observed no loss of comfort when I removed the pads.I'm very satisfied with this product. I wish I had ordered it 10 years sooner.

I purchased these to try along side a regular stretch style construction suspender with clips that hook on to my belt, since I wasn't really sure which would work best and both were affordable. The purpose was when I am working on my deer lease, I often have large machete's, pruning saw and shears, or an axe and maybe a revolver hooked to my belt on the right side. I notice after awhile with any of these items my belt and pants really start to sag on that side. This is even with a top quality no stretch work belt. In all honesty, this suspender set was so good, it's really overkill for what I need it to do. One drawback with hooking it to my belt is that the shoulder straps are heavy nylon and they have no elastic stretch like regular suspenders for when you are standing then sitting. So they do pull tight some when going to a sitting position. The padded straps are nice and do add some comfort. The buckles (swivel snaps) that attach to the belt keepers were steel and are way heavier than I need for my use. What else I found fantastic was that they sent 4 each of 2 types of keepers. One set that attaches around a duty belt with velcro and has plastic D-rings and another set that attaches around a duty belt with steel snap buttons and has steel D-rings. Either way, this is great for a military type guard belt or a police outer duty belt. It's most likely overkill for what I need, but that is no fault of the product at all. I can easily give this 5 stars based on my initial experience and even if I were going to use it a lot it looks like it should easily hold up. Be aware for you older guys with back problems (me) hanging any gear supported over the shoulders does put a strain on the lower spine from vertebral compression and you will feel it later on after wearing this to support any weight. But if the belt keeps slipping with gear, this will support it. A fantastic set of suspenders for heavier gear and healthier backs.

Highly recommended.

I will update with more accurate review but here's mine for now:First off I have never woen suspenders so this is a first time of wearing one and have no comparison too. Seems durable. It feels weird to me but have to get used to it. I work armed security so I purchased it to get the weight of my firearm and magazines off my hips. Seems to work as a test drive. I can unbuckle my pants without them descending directly onto the floor. I will be wearing it to work tonight 09/11. I also put my vest on and made it a little difficult to strap my vest on.

Very comfortable and easy to set up and use everyday. Taking the load off my hips and low back.

Not sure I am being fair with this one... the suspenders did seem to provide stability to my duty belt, amd was easily adjusted and fit well. BUT... they just didn't work for me. Felt a bit uncomfortable and I just couldn't get used to wearing it...

Great quality. Durable material. Worth the purchase if you have back issues. I stopped using mine after my back got better. Very comfortable. Easy to install. Works on any belt. Not elastic, nylon material

Wasnt expecting much for the price, but this is perfect. Takes a lot of load from my hips and helps distribute it. Great for lots of walking and running.

I bought these for my duty belt which holds a good amount of weight between the firearm, three loaded mags, handcuffs and radio. Overall I appreciate the quality of the materials and the comfort. I'm a bit on the short side so admittedly these are just a touch too long, but I'm able to make them work. I thought that the metal hooks would be a good thing to have for durability but I have found them to actually be a bit noisy when walking. The metal hooks make a soft "clank" noise when you want that is kind of annoying.
