Westrock Coffee Company, 100% Arabica Decaf, Single Serve Coffee Cup, Medium Roast (80)

I like to drink dark roast coffee (not bitter dark), but it's hard to find a good one in decaf unless I order online. Because this was medium roast and had very good reviews, although not many, I thought I would try it thinking that using a setting on my Keurig for a smaller cup would get close to what I like. Not! The coffee was smooth and not bitter at all and would probably be loved by people who prefer light roast coffees. In my opinion, this does not taste like a medium roast. Believe me, I have tried many, many coffees trying to find exactly what I like. My experience has been that legitimate Amazon reviews are pretty reliable, so I took a chance. If this item was eligible for return, I'd send it back today. But alas, I'm stuck. And no one else in my family will touch decaf.

The saving grace for this coffee is the price and the sourcing. It appears to have ethical sourcing, but I don't know the company well enough to say if that's a well groomed public image or true inner culture. The price is obviously very good as well.The taste is acidic, leaving a very potent, almost sour aftertaste. The coffee isn't very well decaffeinated, I'm quite sensitive to caffeine and an 8 oz cup gets me pretty wired. I would GUESS that it is about 20 mg per 8 oz based purely on how it is effecting me.Overall I do recommend it if you are choosing based on price. If you can afford a higher quality, then I recommend you look elsewhere.

The first thing that attracted me was the price. It is considerably less than the Newman decaf I've been buying for years. The packaging was also attractive--bright and interesting, so I thought I'd try it. It's great tasting coffee and I will definitely reorder it.

To me it had a weak taste.. Some people might like it. It just wasn't my favorite.I bought two different brands and tried them both. Loved the other brand. This oneI'll giveaway to some one or mix it into other coffee. Sorry.. You may love it. That' why some people love chocolate & some like vanilla ice cream.

My wife and I visit a local casino from time to time. We always comment on how good the coffee tastes at their restaurant/buffet. One day she asked the waitress what brand of coffee it was and she told us it was a company called Westrock Coffee Co. We looked through Amazon Prime, found it and ordered our first sample box. Sure enough, it tasted just like the restaurant bold flavor(but not overwhelming) and not bitter like some coffees are. Since then, thats all we've been ordering. Both regular and Decaf are great.

I've always found it more difficult to find good Decaf coffee than regular. Decaf is often comparably weak and lacking flavor.I would rank Westrock Decaf to be medium+ strong, with excellent full flavor.My new favorite Decaf coffee!

A good flavor and aroma. Instructions recommended 8 ounce setting, but I think the results are satisfactory with 10 ounces

Product arrived on time, was as described by the seller. Enjoyed the taste and think I got a very good buy for my money.
