Designed for easy installation and removal, these fixings spread load evenly to prevent failure over time, making them ideal for professional and DIY use in hanging shelves, curtain rails, and bathroom accessories. ## Description Product Description As seen on the UK BBC’s Dragons’ Den television programme! - The plasterboard fixing that allows you to safely hang items up to 71kg.Ideal for DIY & Trade - hang curtain rails, book shelves and kitchen/bathroom units, to radiators, boilers and wall mounted TV’s.Using their uniquely patented designed slim gripping wings, Gripit Fixings fold out in the gap behind the plasterboard to create one of the most effective and secure fixings on the market today.Traditional plasterboard fixings, although initially secure often fail over time. Gripit fixings are unique plasterboard fixings, manufactured in the UK, that provide the perfect solution to this enduring problem. They are easy to position and fit, and provide a strong, secure fixing for most wall-mounted items. The design spreads the load over twice the diameter of the fixing ensuring the even distribution of any stresses over a wide area.Suitable for use in 9.5 to 15mm thick plasterboard, Gripit fixings are easy to fit. Mark the location, drill the hole using the recommended size flat bit and tap in the Gripit. Push in the insert with a screwdriver and a simple twist spreads the Gripit wings behind the board; job done. The Yellow Gripit fixings come with 4mm Screws. Gripit fixings are reusable: simply turn wing screws to release and remove. If you are unfortunate enough to encounter double thickness plasterboard or dot and dab adhesive, the Gripit Undercutting Tool accessory creates a recess for the wings to rotate into place. I thought it would be easier to remove the mounts than mask them for painting, but when I went to re-attach the mounts the screws couldn't find the threads on most of the toggles. I decided to give these a try. Since there were already holes for the toggles, the spade bit didn't quite make round holes--they were slightly oblong. It turns out it didn't matter at all. The gripit anchors fit snugly anyway, and the speaker mounts attached securely to the wall. Just to tempt fate I removed some screws and put them back in, and it worked perfectly. I'll definitely use these for future projects. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great! *by D***A on May 1, 2019* These worked great. We tried so many different things and this was the only product that kept our mirror on the wall! So happy I found these!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Grips well *by G***S on November 19, 2018* Tiny screws that tighten are hard to see --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/56511765-gripit-yellow-15mm-pack-of-25](https://www.desertcart.be/products/56511765-gripit-yellow-15mm-pack-of-25) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
