Quality Plastic, Improvements Could be Made
These worked well. However, I did have to silicon around the bulkhead in order to stop the leaks. there were not a detailed instruction sheet.

all the parts you need
I put 2 of these and 3 of the 1 inch size into a 55 gallon glass aquarium, the glass is about 3/8 inch thick. It comes with the parts you are going to need to get the job done, and is leak free for several months now. I used a 38mm glass hole cutter, also purchased from Amazon. With a hose connected it sticks out about 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 inches, meaning you will need at least 4 inches clearance to the nearest wall or obstruction if you expect to change hoses after your tank is in place. I've installed almost a dozen of these so far on various tanks, and none of them have ever failed.

Good quality, Good value
I mounted this bulkhead to a 1 gallon paint can for a hydroponic system. I cut a 1-3/8" hole in the bottom of the can with a hole saw. I've seen posts here saying to drill a 1-1/2" hole. I think that is too big. The gasket has an upraised ring on the face. You want to make sure that this ring touches the can (or whatever you are mounting to) all the way around. The bigger the hole, the harder it is to make this happen.I installed this a month ago, and from day one haven't seen a single drip.I like that this kit comes with a suction strainer, which can cost more than this entire kit if purchased separately.

Not as pictured, bulkhead is slip slip not threaded
I brought this thinking its is slip thread bulkhead as picture, turn out it is slip slip bulkhead head. Too much of a hassle to return. Bad business

Versatile, high quality, and easy to install Do-It-Yourself drain, fill or vent pipe for almost any tray, tank or container.
After the drain on my attic heat pump blower unit got stopped up and flooded my upstairs hallway ceiling, I bought this to use with a GoGo Pet Product Plastic Dog Crate Replacement Pan/Tray to make a drip tray to catch the overflow if the heat pump drain gets stopped up again. I used a hole saw to cut a hole in the bottom of the tray and installed the Lifeguard Aquatics Bulkhead fitting kit to add a drain to the tray. The kit comes with everything you need to install it including the rubber washer that other brands omit. You can use either plastic tubing or PVC pipe (by not using the 90 degree elbow) for the drain line.
