Description

Designed for use in turret lathes, screw machines, drill presses and all types of machine tool equipment. Ground with a 45° chamfer they are suitable for reaming most materials ordinarily encountered. Cobalt material provides better wear resistance, higher hardness and is tougher than high speed steel. Cobalt provides less chipping and thus allows tool to be run 10% faster than high speed steel.
