Textile shower curtains are water-repellent rather than water-proof. The 100% polyester fabric is made water-repellent by the addition of an acrylic coating. The sides, top and bottom of the curtain are neatly hemmed and the bottom hem includes a weight to ensure that the curtain hangs straight and helps to prevent the curtain clinging to the user when wet. The eyelets are reinforced with rust-resistant metal to give a smart finish. This curtain is machine washable at 40 degrees and can be pressed with a cool iron.
