TEXTIMO Farbrausch Easter Egg Dyes 4 Colours

Didn’t turn the eggs anywhere near the colour on the packet

I chose this particular product because it was the only one that could be delivered at short notice. I have received the package one day sooner than expected. It was easy to use and less messy than usual to dye the easter eggs, but you can only have three eggs of each colour. My eggs were slightly blue in colour (it's impossible to get eggs with white shells in the UK) and I have attached a picture on how they tunred out. I am mostly pleased with how even the colour turned out and how little mess the process made in the kitchen.

I tried the Farbrausch Easter Egg Dyes for the first time this year on Free-range brown eggs (brown eggs in the middle of photo for comparison) in the UK. I grew up using Paas in the US and hoped that these would be similar. They aren't. I was only able to have my children help with the first step and wipe the eggs with the 'clear paint' on the cloths but then I had to do the rest (mix dyes and boil them). I didn't realise that you cooked and dyed these at the same time. It was less fun for the children, but the results were lovely vivid colours. I would use them again, but also use my old natural dyes method for the children to dip-dye eggs themselves. Also, the instructions suggested no more than 3 eggs per colour bag. I was feeling a bit rebellious and did 4 per bag and it was fine. Also, the plastic clips are a bit rubbish and started to melt so I swapped them for the IKEA bag clips.

Great colours and quite easy to use, just read the instructions before you start as there are quite a few steps involved.
