Problem solved!
These were cheaper than the ones I bought for other toilet seats and every bit as good, if not better. Where it is my choice I go for wooden toilet seats so that you can screw the lugs on. The toilet in the bathroom is one of the modern types where you have to buy the seat to match the rectangular shape of the bowl. Like most modern seats, no amount of tightening would stop the seat from loosening sooner or later. Grrr!! As per other reviewers I didn't bother with the sticky pads. Screws are not an option because the plastic is not thick enough. I used rapid set araldite. These lugs are effectively part of the toilet seat now - I think the seat will break first! It helped that adhesion that the side of the lug that mates with the underside of the seat is slightly roughened. Anyhow I was careful to put them on in such a way as to leave no gap either side between bowl inner rim and lug-ears. No more movement. Not a millimeter. Well chuffed :DHINT: If you plan to attach these with araldite, super-glue, etc, it helps with placement if you use an elastic band - one end around the lug-ear, the other end looped around the toilet seat roughly where you want it, and back over the lug-ear to complete the loop. You can then drop the seat down, make the necessary adjustments to ensure the lug is a snug fit against the toilet bowl inner rim, raise the seat and the mark the position of the lug on the seat underside with a pencil. Once glue is applied, before it sets, let the seat back and make any final adjustments. I prefer rapid set araldite to superglue because you get 4 or 5 mins to make any adjustments, and once it has set properly (about 2 hours) neither the lugs nor the seat are going to budge, no matter what. Photo attached of lugs araldited in place and clips to secure them until fully set

good fast service
good fast service, this stabiliser works ok, but the adhesive pads could do with being a bit more solid. My toilet seat is plastic, and the under side is curved, so there wasn't a lot of contact area.consequently, one of them fell off after about three weeks and got flushed down the toilet

overall, works, if screws are used.
Ok.But need to use the screws for stability. Good job I had a wooden seat. The stick on part was no good by itself.Has solved the problem.

These didn't work for the purpose bought for as the toilet seat in question has a curve on the bottom side. They can only be used on a flat underside seat.

Great item when fitted properly.
These are ok, but you must sand the piece you are going to stick the stopper too. We found it harder wearing to use araldite glue.

Great Product
This is a great product. It is best secured to the seat with screws. It has made the toilet seat completely stable for my elderly Mother. No more worrying about the seat wobbling or the hinges failing and her ending up on the floor unable to get up. Would recommend this to anyone. You need a toilet seat that is either wood or a composite that the stoppers can be screwed to. Well worth the cost of postage from the USA.
