Classy and does the job perfectly
If you've got music books containing "all of Chopins nocturnes" or "the full score for all instruments for Beethoven Piano concerto No 1" then you'll know the annoyance that ensues trying to keep the flipping pages open with thick stubborn scores! I've tried oversized "bulldog clips", "something heavy" at the bottom, all manner of things lying around the house, but all ultimately frustrating and inconvenient. These clips were actually my last choice. They weren't as cheap as other "similar" options on the internet. But all those were essentially cheap bits of plastic for what was a silly price. I wasn't sure these clips would actually work, but I took the plunge and am so glad I did.The jaw that affixes to the music rest is felt-lined so you can push them on and slide them about without any worry of scratching your humble upright or not so humble grand. Mine is a Dexibell Vivo H10 and they fit perfectly. The "window wiper" arms can be adjusted to any position, even "flat" which means I dont need to take them off when closing my piano lid - brilliant as I'll never misplace them. The arms are perfectly strong enough to keep open the most pushy of scores. I find positioning them outward from the center with arms pointing outward perfect - the arms remain below music at the bottom of the page and press into the page about half-way.My thick Schirmer music books are stubborn and do bow outward, even with my oversized bulldog clip. But these clips allow you to turn pages easily and slide the page into the other clips arm without completely stopping, removing any device, turning the page, reapplying the device. Although when I've got to the end of the 2nd page it's typically time for a celebratory glass of wine anyway. Like a good book, you don't want to get to the end too quickly, and the reward is welcome! These may seem a little dear compared to the cheaper plastic alternatives out there, but they are well worth it. Hand made, well made, well presented. My black/gold ones blend in seamlessly and add a touch of class where plastic would certainly not. They cost a tiny fraction of a piano and are friends for life, so treat yourself, or someone who'd appreciate these lovely little clips that stick two fingers up to stubborn music scores!

Great product
I have been looking for a product like this for years as my grand piano does not have clips and my music always falls closed. This will be excellent for many people.I am very bad a fitting things on to other things and hope my photos will help others. At first I thought as I could not clip the clips at the bottom of my music holder on the piano I would not be able to see them (as there is no gap at the bottom to fit them under - see two of my photos which show the clips not attached to the piano - just loose when I was puzzling as to how to attach them. However I then realised I could clip them at the sides of the music stand part of the piano and they will hold the music open very well from the sides - see my other two pictures including that showing the music book. This is going to mean this Christmas when I am the one who has to accompany carols and also sing the soprano line at the same time or even worse sing alto I will not also be wrestling with keeping the book open on the piano at the same time.Excellent product.

Yamaha music ledge solved
They are well-made, look nice, slide easily and harmlessly, and do what I needed- keep the music book on the ledge and pages open, not too difficult to turn pages! Hallelujah! It was a bit pricey but worth it.

Great item if they fit your piano
Clever idea, really well made, good looking piano clips. Unfortunately they didn't fit my piano (a kawai digital piano ca59). As such I've sadly returned them and dropped a star, but assuming they fit I'm sure you'd be very happy with them. On a related note the seller offered great communication and a prompt refund so full marks on that score.

Returning to the good old days
I'm rarely moved to write reviews on Amazon, but this is excellent. For >20y I've used digital pianos without proper music stands; currently a Roland LX17, which uses the lid as its music stand. To keep pages in place, I've used a jury-rigged system of bendy arms (from studio camera equipment) much detested by my family -- and even then not very good. These clips are excellent and since they are two independent items, they can be adjusted to the width of any book (and one could always get more for very wide sheet music or multiple books). They fit on the edge of my piano lid (so you have to remember to take them off when closing the lid) and have a non-scratch felt. It's like a return to the old days when piano manufacturers remembered that you might want some music on the piano, and that music doesn't always come in helpful single sheets or books that magically stay open by themselves!

Work perfectly
Excellent product, they hold my music open and I can also turn the pages easily. I have a Yamaha digital piano and these fit beautifully onto the music holder, they work just like the ones on a traditional piano and look good as well. Also the seller was great when I accidentally duplicated my order, refunding me straight away. Would definitely recommend both seller and product.

Brilliant Solution to very Annoying Problem!
After spending a lot of money on a new Yamaha upright acoustic piano, I was extremely disappointed to discover it didn't have the little clips on the music shelf to hold music open. Very frustrating! Why o why do Yamaha and I'm sure other piano manufacturers not provide these as standard?! They are absolutely essential for holding pages open as music books generally do not lie flat. Anyway, needless to say I was very happy to find these ingenious little clips which do the job perfectly, are of good quality and look nice (although a bit pricey)So glad I found them, absolutely brilliant! Thank you.

Smart and effective
Having lived for years with a thin strip of beading blu-tacked to my piano music rest to stop sheet music from slipping and books from falling off, I was delighted to discover these clips. The black ones look very smart and mostly do the job well, though they can slip about a bit when moving the clip up and down to turn pages. Overall, though, very pleased.
