Pros: It felt good on my skin, similar to tights, but defnly the feel of a body shaper. I'm African-American & it wasn't sheer or see-thru on me- (lupus keeps me out of the sun bc of flares, rashes & blush-red 🦋on my face) so I would hv seen skin. It didnt roll down. I read other comments that it smells bad, it's strong but it didn't smell any different than a waist trainer or the neoprene wraps when u 1st take it out of the pkg. It didn't smell like ass- THATS ALWAYS A POSITIVE! The pkg from the company was nice - not like a cellophane bag u get from Wish- lol. The outside bag is resealable in case item needs to be returned.Cons: The largest size is a 3x. Pay attention to the size chart. I hv thick fat ass thighs so that created a bit of a problem. Oh yea- I'm 5'3- they may seem long but if ur short stack of thick pancakes like me, then pull it up little by little from the bottom. I could get it up to the top of my abdomen with baby pulls and deep breaths, but big girl problems...1- the crotch of the leggings was at least a hands length away from the Va-jj.2-My tummy isn't flabby or soft bc I had excess skin removed, but my booty is round & soft, so the only thing held in was my ass. For me, that was a problem bc I need to see 2 cheeks at the meeting of my buttocks & thigh- not 1 big smile from hip to hip.3-stars bc I purchased this item bc I clicked on a FB ad. I rec'v a msg on Messenger from -what I know now- a bot promising this item as a free sample to help promote business if I ordered on Amazon & I'd be reimbursed thru my PayPal. The bot was smart enough to wait until I said yes and redirected me to this item on Amazon. After I ordered, PayPal wasn't an option at checkout, but a msg was left to leave my Order# and phone number. I did that several times & emailed the company. Needless to say the bot didn't reply & didn't reimburse me. I waited until I got the product tried it on- it didn't fit so I sent it back. It was quick, simple & stress free. On a positive note, I did rec'v 2-3 emails apologizing due to high volume customer care during Black Friday & Cyber Monday sale. I was told, it would be fwd to the right dept. By this time, I hv literally just stop'd the pkg off at the UPS Store. Then, a real person responded to messenger where it all started. The rep apologize for delay bc of high volume, asked for my Facebook account name & email address to be reimbursed to my PayPal. Hey, I'm a honest person. I said thank you but item didn't fit & was returned. During Black Friday/Cyber sale, this item was only $11-12 or $18 for a pairing. Had I gotten it for $11-12 or reimbursed in a more timely manner, then I wouldve kept it & given it to my sister who doesn't hv thunder thighs or a big booty. Just bc it says 3x doesn't mean u hv to be a 3x. Everyone's body type is different. 200-250 looks completely different person to person. I'd order another product from the company, but I'd do a price comparison from Amazon & the company website.This is the longest review I hv EVER written!

At first, I ordered my true size based on the size chart, which is a medium. And after reading the reviews, something told me to cancel that order and reorder them one size up, which is a large. So glad I did! They do run small. My regular medium would not of fit. The large fits perfectly. I’m not a large woman and purchased them for fashion. I love leggings and wanted a nice pricier pair to wear with boots for the cold seasons, rather than all the thin, see thru ones most women clothing stores sell. You know …. the ones that stretch and become see-thru in the rear. And everyone can clearly see your behind when you walk pass in them. Lol! These are thick and pull everything in. They shape you nicely. I don’t understand the few reviews that say they’re not worth it. My response to that is leggings aren’t for every body type. Some ppl want leggings to perform miracles for them, when we need to lose a some weight. And that’s my thoughts on that.

I had a baby 2 months ago, I normally am a M or L 5'5 and weigh 150. After pregnancy I am 180lb and need something to compress my stomach. 100% helps

I wear black leggings every single day and have been struggling to find a replacement for my worn out ones. I wore ones with yoga fold over waistband so I could pull them up high as I carry all my weight in my stomach. I have always constantly had to pull them up. And must have looked ridiculous out for a walk or shopping. So embarrassing.I stumbled upon these and they were on sale so I bout them and they arrived same day. Tried them on and OMG. So smooth, like thick tights. Doesn’t feel like a sausage casing. They come up to under my breasts and do NOT roll down. Nope, nada, not at all. There’s a bit of silicone on the waistband which makes it stay up.If I’m going to be nit picky and find ONE thing I don’t like- it’s the double piping/seam or whatever that is on the outside of the leg. It brings them down to too casual and although I’ll continue to wear them religiously and with everything nice or not, it’s meh to me.

Worn them one time and they have come unstiched at the bottom - after all the hype I expected they'd be better than the ones that are 6$ at Walmart - so sad they are falling apart.The company sent a replacement pair - I have yet to wear them but gave a now 3 star rating for - will update after useThe 2nd pair has been amazing. Super comfortable and no coming undone. Will definitely give them another try. Would consider ordering a size down as they are just slightly bigger than expected. Overall happy with the purchase.

Material is thick and provides good form support.

Very thick, If that is what you are looking for. Not great for summer though. They are not fitted at the ankle, which I find strange.

I was prepared to not like these leggings but was pleasantly surprised. I have lymphedema and my legs are swollen badly at times. These leggings are almost as good as my medical wraps & compression stockings. I'm looking forward to cooler weather when I can wear them all the time. I will need to buy more pairs for sure!! They don't advertise lymphedema relief, but it's nice to find a company selling such a good product. Thank you!!

I loveeee these leggings!!! These don't do anything for my shape like seen in commercials and videos, other than maybe some slight smoothing. Which I don't need.I checked, double checked and checked some more, using my measuring tape to ensure that I had the correct size before buying. According to the size chart, I was in between the 3Xl and 4Xl. It also stated to go with the next size up if ones measurements fall between two different sizes. So I went with the 4Xl size as directed.Talk about a MASSIVE letdown!! I wasn't expecting magic or miracles, however WAS expecting these to work as advertised. Especially as I have a tiny waist for which I was expecting these to show off better. For context, I am 5'11, hourglass shape, weigh 220lbs, medium boned, high waisted/long torso, equally long legs and wear a US/CA size XL-3XL for tops and bottoms depending on the style. So why on earth am I giving these a 4/5 score, as well as saying how much I love them?? COMFORT!Unlike the days of my youth, I cannot stand anything too tight against my skin due to some neuropathy and other health issues. Rather than feeling tight, these leggings feel like a comfy hug. The compression of these feels amazing!! Much different than doing the "get on my body dance/workout", only to end up feeling like an over stuffed sausage.😅 They just feel really great while wearing them be it for a few hours, or an entire day. They seriously compete with a super comfy pair of jogging pants.. I generally forget that I'm wearing anything at all. If you've ever worn compression socks for diabetes, varicose veins, pre or post surgery for healing purposes etc, then you know how fantastic they feel. These leggings give you that wonderful feeling from ankle to the under breast area. I also currently live on the HORRID Planet Menopause, and it's sister Planet Drowning in Sweat.😖Being in the buck in a NWT winter still wouldn't be cool enough for me!!😄 These leggings wick away moisture but more than that, I find they help keep me cool so I don't sweat like normal when wearing them. WIN!!🥳So if you also reside on the same CRAZY Planets as me/Team Menopause, I think you'll quite like these leggings. I really like the thicker material used to make these, as well as how well they're made. Including double stitching.With proper care, these leggings should last for quite a long time. I wash mine on the gentle cycle, hang them until they are almost dry, then toss them in my dryer for 10mins on the lowest heat setting. Or I let them completely dry, then toss them in my dryer on the no heat setting to soften them up. No issues with pilling on my first or second pair. I bought them on sale. Quite a few months have passed since I first bought these, and I recently decided that I wouldn't mind having another pair. I ended up purchasing another pair still on sale. While I wouldn't pay full price for these, I'll definitely be buying more when they are on sale. For the life of me I cannot figure out why these don't preform for me as they do in their ads and commercials.🧐 Especially as I have the exact same shape and am SMALLER weight wise and distribution wise, than some of the ladies in the ads. So absolutely I am disappointed, but I'll take their comfort factor any day. And as mentioned, I do love the fabric choice and quality for these. Another reason I love the material of these is because I own dogs that stress shed. The material seems almost pet hair repellent. A quick hand brush and any hair that's gotten on them instantly falls off. (Well, I'm not sure about cat hair but for dogs, definitely helpful!) I almost forgot about the fit for us tall gals. At 5'11 these hit below my long legged ankles exactly as I prefer. Also having a high waist, I was rather surprised that the waistband hits just under my breasts. I HATE wearing bras these days because the bra band is painful. (Neuropathy related.) Doesn't matter if it's a conventional bra or sports bra, because either kind has a lot of weight to hold. So when I have to wear one, I don't particularly enjoy the waistband hitting that area. But on my many let the ladies be bra free days, the waistband doesn't bother me at all. I haven't had any issues with the waistband rolling down on me, which is something I usually do have problems with in the shape wear dept. Were I rating these as advertised, I'd give zero stars if I could. The ONLY reason for my 4/5 is due to my personal preferences, which naturally won't be everyone else's. So for that reason I cannot recommend them to anyone else in good conscience especially as shape wear. Should any of the things mentioned that I do like about these resonate with you, then maybe give them a chance. But definitely wait for a sale to give them a try.On sale these are excellent value for money in my books. At regular price of $80+, just NO and no again! Definitely not worth that kind of money period. The only reason I'm giving these a green light for the sale price, is because I'm a quality over quantity type person.I wouldn't classify these leggings as shape wear to begin with. It's more realistic to consider them as being a very nice quality legging. And if they do end up helping you a little or a lot, depending on your needs and body shape, that's a bonus!😃I know this is a long read, but I hope it helps..

I am a little torn about these. On one hand, they do deliver on most of their promises! I feel they keep my tummy in without being constricting. I find them very comfortable. Do they stay up? At the front, yes, definitely. At the back? Ehhh. For me the top is right where I have a roll, and it get bunched up underneath it. The rubbery bit that helps it hang on to you works better where it has a flat surface to work with, like for me, my front.It passes the squat test for me. You're all welcome for the classy pic of my big behind. The things I do for science..But the biggest thing for me is that I'm not a huge fan of the material. I was expecting something a bit more smooth or matte. But it's almost.. grainy? It's hard to describe. I took a pic of my legs with flash to enhance what I mean.Lastly there is this diamond bit at the crotch area that I'm not a fan of. I understand its function, sort of, but it makes the leggings feel more like shapewear and not leggings. I wouldn't wear these with a shirt personally, only with a tunic or dress to make sure that bit is covered up. They also have two stipes down the side.So, for comfort points, 5/5. Style/aesthetic points, 3/5. Would I buy again? Not sure. I bought two pairs. I will probably keep one and return one since I'm not 100% in love with them.I bought the 2x size. I am 44 inches at my narrowest and 53 inches at my widest.

They are comfortable and has some support for legs. The lightly gel wasteline helps to stay up. They are affordable for the quality.They do not compare to actual therapy leggings for autoimmune for proper support which are a lot more expensive.They have a soft smooth thicker supportive material than thin leggings making them more durable for wash and wear. I use pure detergent and hang dry. Maybe a light dryer lint removal.I find them more relax fitting on ankles but good for inflammation days.However they are great to wear and to alternate when needed between the therapy leggings esp in warmer & cooler temperatures. IMOThey also came with sweet unique supportive stickers which I believe reflects the sincerity of the Shapermint company to their customers.

* Edit*I have to rave about shapermint as a company. I am blown away by their amazing customer service! They saw my comment and contacted me to make things right. I would buy again and again from this company simply because their customer service and desire to keep their customers happy is better than I’ve seen anywhere in a long time! I feel like I was heard and they really went above and beyond to make me happy. Great company!Again the black pair is perfection! Super happyI bought these in black first. I’m pregnant and I have a hernia that looks weird so I wanted something high waisted and compressive so I gave them a shot. Obsessed with the black ones, they aren’t see through, they stay up and they are comfy. So I decided to purchase another color. I ordered the same size but these ones are not quite as squat proof as the black somehow. Still stay up, still comfy but I’ll have to wear something long enough to cover the butt.

They were comfy. They didn't roll down. Be mindful of what under wear you put on because they are a wee bit see through. Worked great with my other shape wear.
