They were all decently made knives, but were quite soft. Not great at edge holding, but easy to sharpen like the old AUS 8 offerings. However my recent Eafengrows are real D2, with steel characteristics similar to my Ganzo Knives. **Q: How thick is the blade? And is the blade true D2 steel?** A: In Photos #5-#6, you can see D2 stamped on the blade. The product description says it's D2 but the real question you should be asking is how reputable is Eafengrow, the company that makes this knife? If it is D2, then when you use it, you will need to sharpen it about twice as many strokes as you would with basic stainless steel and it should hold its edge quite a bit longer. The difference in blades made from D2 is the quality of the heat treatment and the angle of the edge. My advice is to do an Internet search. If Eafengrow is both legitimate and well-known, then you should be able to find favorable product reviews of their knives on websites of major sporting goods retailers, knife user forums and magazines devoted to outdoor sports, firearms and other weapons. The bottom line is this: if the blade is made from D2 and the handle is G10, then it's a great knife at a great price and you should get it. (I would but I have too many knives as it is). **Q: How much does it weigh? The shipping weight says 1.6 oz but that can't be right.** A: Don't know didn't weigh it, but it's a good cheap knife... The blade is good if it's not true D2, hard to sharpen.. I would guess if it's not real it's a damn good fake.. it is a really light knife tho.. **Q: What grind is it?** A: I have an "axis lock" knife. Decent knife for a good value. *by T***Y on May 14, 2019* Decent knife for the money. Has a super quick action. Very pronounced fast click action as the blade flys open with ease. Very impressed by this. It was faster and had less resistance the the honey badger and the Ganzo fh21 I got at the same time. It's light weight so could be used as an edc and still has good size to it. The liners are milled. I wish it was slightly thinner in the handle profile as there is quite a bit of space around the blade when it's closed in the handle and I like it a bit tighter fitting. I realize bearing knives usually are a little wider set. But it could've been thinner. I also wish there was a bit more texture like jimping on the liner lock and maybe the top of the blade where it meets the handle. This would make it better for having your thumb or fore finger on the top of the knife when performing cutting tasks. And lastly I've seen a couple different popular knife you tubers who have done tests on eafengrow knives steel and it has usually come back as NOT BEING D2 steel like claimed. Most cheaper knife companies out of china have been doing this with the main exception being Ganzo having legit d2 with a 62rockwell rating, beating out most of American companies D2! Ganzo is really shaking up the pocket knife world, you either live me or hate me but no one can deny their value for the money. Any way I knew this fake d2 issue going in but still made the purchase for $20 and the steel isn't actually that bad. I cut up some rolled up carpets using a few different knives to test them out and give me a reason to sharpen them lol and it seemed to hold up better than 8cr13mov and just as well if not better than 440c! It did almost as well as a couple of other knives I have in legit d2. So I'm not disappointed .All in all it's a decent and light knife with a slick and quick flipper action for a 20 dollar bill.
