Yopolazi: Asian Fusion Gourmet Chili Oil 8oz, Gluten Free

This spicy oil is awesome.A friend of mine who came from Northern China said that Yopolazi is a traditional style spicy oil in her hometown. She shared this one with me and told me that it's a little bit different to those in China (sounds like those in China added some traditional herbs with special Chinese style taste) but this is even better than those traditional ones, so she recommend it to me. I've never tried traditional ones before but I do love this one. It smells fresh and smooth, in addition, it's not so hot and spicy like those from Mexico, and not so salty like other Asian hot & spicy sauces.After I finished all Yopolazi oil she gave me, I purchase this one immediately. And it's good to know that it's made in USA - actually the factory is in SF Bay Area, close to my home. It's a little bit pricey but give me a peace of mind.

The flavor is fantastic. We have a Chinese high school student living with us, and she loves it too! She bought something similar locally, but it just wasn't the same, and she hasn't touched that other stuff again since we started ordering this. Spicy, but not overwhelming, we add it to pretty much every Chinese dish we make.

This product does not have much flavor. I wish there was more heat.

Great oil for infusing a lot of flavor into something. Over noodles, stirred into eggs for an omelet, onto roasted meat. It's not salty in itself or excessively hot/spicy. Just a good thing to have in the kitchen.

A family friend gave us a bottle and after tasting it once I immediately went online to buy one of my own. It has a good kick without being unbearably hot. Whatever other spices are in it give it a complex, fragrant heat. It's great in a dipping sauce for dumplings, on cold noodles, or to finish hot foods after they come off the stove. I wouldn't actually cook with it since i think the prolonged heat exposure destroys a lot of the fragrance and just makes it one-note spicy.

This is the most authentic chili oil I ever had. Great taste and good for any cold dishes. I also like to add it to noodles. You will addicted to this flavor once you tasted it!

The combination of heat and sesame makes a great flavor.

Arrived perfect, well packed. Yummy! Very pleased.
