Today I received my order for Embroidery Floss 48 colors 144 skeins by Fuyit. As others have stated, the colors are quite lovely and as shown on the product page. I confirmed that there were 3 skeins each of 48 colors. The first thing I noticed when handling the skeins was how wonderfully soft they are. They will be a pleasure to work with.I want to thank "Hooked on Prime!" for the really helpful review, especially the testing for color fastness. I agree with the assessment that the colors are spot on in most cases with DMCs colors. These are not DMC products, but it's really helpful that the DMC numbers are used. Some of these colors are a tiny bit different from DMC when viewed under daylight conditions, but under normal indoor lighting conditions, even most of those appear identical. There are a few colors that are a bit more dissimilar, but they are close enough if you are not trying to match to and use the same DMC floss in the same area of a counted cross stitch piece. Then again, I discovered today while checking all of this out, that not even DMC floss colors recently purchased matches the same number from 20 years ago. For instance, #211 in this assortment matches exactly the older DMC #211, but not the newest dye lot for #211. Here are the numbers included:white, 209, 211, 310, 347, 368, 433, 436, 444, 445,606. 645, 647, 648, 702, 704, 720, 722, 725, 738,741, 746, 760, 792, 803, 815, 898, 904, 907, 920,938, 961, 966, 995, 3021, 3042, 3072, 3325, 3340, 3607,3608, 3713, 3766, 3777, 3835, 3836, 3844, 3849I'm extremely happy with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. The colors are absolutely lovely and vibrant! I am so happy how you get three of each color for 48 colors!The needles arrived in the package with a caring note as well.I will update my review once I do some embroidery work with the thread itself.**EDIT**Came well packaged. Thread has no tangles. Wide variety of colors. Only three or four were similar in color, which did not really bother me because of the myriad selection to choose from.Thread seems sturdy and does not tangle even when separating into smaller strands. It's easy to work with. I am a novice at embroidery and this is my first project (I've attached a photo). It's held up to French Knots, an Outline Stich, and Straight Stitches. I've also practiced split stitch, bullion knots, satin stitch, and chain stitch with the thread. I am looking forward to trying out long and short stitches for the leaf itself.I would highly recommend this set. I definitely feel like I got bang for my buck. I will order it again in the future and I would even gift it to a friend or family member.I have not tested the needles out, but they look solid enough.

I bought this for my mother to get her back into cross stitching and this set does not disappoint. There is a wide selection of nice and bright colors and each color has 3 sets of thread for it. I also did not notice any duplicates of the same color. In addition, the kit comes with ten needles of different sizes. A cute little thank you card also came with the set, which was also nice.

I bought this pack of embroidery floss to crochet a bunch of flowers to make hair clips with. The colors are prettier than another pack of floss I purchased. There's not an ugly color in here. I was also impressed with the quality of the packaging, and the needles that came with the floss have also come in handy. I will definitely be buying this again!

This is just not the quality I'm use to as in the most popular (long standing one). There are flaws throughout the product/frays. I wouldn't recommend this at all.

I bought this thread/floss to use in punch needle. It is a craft I learned many years ago and to get subtle shade changes when punching animals or flowers or faces, this floss set is expansive and fit all my needs.

Given the price point I wasn’t expecting a lot other than a nice range of colors. This thread really is of a lovely silky quality as well! I would order it again for my class.

I’m very happy with this purchase. The price is great for so many colors and it works well for cross stitching. It also came with 10 needles and one of those things you use to cut out the thread when you make a mistake.

The media could not be loaded.  I was a little worried about purchasing so many skeins all in one go, I was afraid that they would all be horrible/unusable colours, but it couldn’t have been further from the truth!!! Just look at the colours I got!! I use embroidery floss to monogram my work shirts, and various other projects and it’s nice to have an array of different colours to choose from. It’s also much cheaper then buying the colours individually.I usually only buy “Anchor” thread; these threads are just as vibrant as those. I have already monogrammed a shirt with this thread and it’s just as good! The package also came with needles, a needle threader and a much needed pick unstitch.

The media could not be loaded.  Set composto da tre matassine di 48 diversi colori, davvero molto carino e completo di tante sfumature, per poter completare al meglio i propri lavori a punto croce.Oltre alle matassine, sono presenti anche aghi e infila aghi, sempre utile soprattutto contando che si tratta di un filo abbastanza grosso (intreccio di 6 fili).Per quello che ho potuto constatare con i colori già presenti a casa, la numerazione sembra seguire quella DMC.Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è piuttosto buono: il filo è resistente e non si strappa, nemmeno tirando con il chiaro intento di romperlo, inoltre l'ho tenuto in ammollo sia in acqua fredda che in acqua calda e non ha perso minimamente colore in nessun caso.È un ottimo set, soprattutto per chi inizia o per chi necessità di avere tanti colori a disposizione per il proprio lavoro.Edit: ho aggiunto il video perché ho pensato potesse permettere di vedere meglio le varie sfumature di colore. Spero sia abbastanza chiaro e nitido.

Good selection of colours. You get 3 of each colour, so 48 different colours in total. The numbers on the thread match the DMC numbering system (at a fraction of the DMC price). Also comes with needles, needle threader and a seam ripper. A good starter kit for someone wanting to try cross stitch and not spend a fortune. Just add aida and off you go. Threads stitch well and you can make lots of lovely designs with the colours sent. Picture of one I stitched with this review. Would definitely buy again.

Just ordered this for my little girls Xmas, she wants to learn to cross stitch. This seemed a good kit to start. Opened it up. And this is all that came. 3 hoops, a bag of thread and 1 white piece of fabric. No needles at all, hoops missing no accessories, no scissors , nothing. Only good thing is the hoops seem strong and the thread looks good quality. Otherwise it's useless to is without the needles and kit!

I must have received the exception to everyone else. Mine are awful. They look pretty, great colours, but dreadful to actually embroider with. The close keeps shredding. Can only use very small lengths, e.g. 9" at a time, but even then comes apart. Really disappointed. I don't have much confidence that there's will be colourfast when washed. But I don't think that will be a problem as I doubt I will get anything made. Rapidly losing the will to live when I try to use these. Somebody in one review referred to them as silks. They are most definitely NOT silk, but rather a cheap and nasty cotton type of floss.
