Switchcrafted The Story of The Switch Witches of Halloween Book

I bought the Switchcrafted switch witch for my son who has Celiac Disease. He is only 4, so it can be hard for him to give up candy that he gets on Halloween! I found this to be a helpful solution! He loved the book and the witch it came with. She is a very friendly looking witch! On Halloween night we went through all the candy he can't have, which is all but tootsie rolls and put it in a bowl. We wrote a letter to the switch witch and when morning came he had a gift in its place! No one was upset about not having any candy! For us this was exactly what we needed to make Halloween more enjoyable! He told everyone the Switch Witch was coming to our house :) If you're child has a food allergy, or Celiac this is a great option! Plus you don't have to move the doll every night haha!

I ordered two of these cute gift sets. The shipment was quick and we were able to start our new tradition today. This book is wonderfully written and I am looking forward to reading this with the kids and grandkids from years to come. We are a family of four with two girls, ages 9 and 13, who love traditions. My teenager is even looking forward to trading in her candy for not a toy, but a gift card. My 9 year old will trade hers for a toy and is very excited about starting this new tradition. I saw this as a wonderful opportunity to teach my kids about healthy habits, especially during these holiday months. Usually, when October rolls around again, it is non stop sweet eating in my family till after Valentine's Day. Since I am a dental hygienist, I am always worried about the kid's teeth this time of year. Now, we can save all of our October sweets for our witch, Glenda and the girls will still have something to look forward to after Halloween....a toy for my 9 year old and a gift card for my teen. Thank you!

For under $10 to include a doll, a book, and a bag for trick-or-treating, I can’t complain much. The doll and bag seem to be good quality. Like others have stated about the book, it’s not the greatest. It has a typo or two and doesn’t rhyme too well or make much sense for a toddler/preschooler to understand but we’ll make it work with some extra explanation.

Love the switch witch. This is our Halloween replacement as our daughter has type one diabetes. Great for any family though. We let our kids pick a couple pieces of candy and the rest goes out for the switch witch and she brings money or toys.

Exactly what I hoped it would be! This is a fantastic way to let your kids enjoy the fun of trick or treating but avoiding any struggle keeping them from eating junky candy full of chemicals. My daughter loves the story and idea of this new holiday character. She's excited to be "good" the entire month of October so the switch witch will pay her a visit. The package is cool and her having the SW doll & bag made it such an exciting treat for her. I highly recommend!

Great concept but I just didn't care for the story. I think for the younger ones there needs to be a more simple shorter story. I can't quite put my finger on my issue with the story other than what's mentioned above but I just don't care for it. The story was almost too specific or something. My daughter loves books but this one doesn't keep her interested. I do however love this concept. The Witch is cute enough and the packaging was nice and I like that a bag was included.

We loved our switch witch and we will continue to use her for future Halloween’s. Such a great idea. And a great way to limit candy intake from your littles. Because if their anything like mine they can get a little crazy.

GREAT! This story is so cute. My daughter has celiac disease so we plan to let her trade her candy with gluten with the switch witch. The story that goes along with this is really cute. It is all about how the witches need candy in order to heat the houses and do magic. The illustrations are nice too.The doll is really cute too. My 3 year old carries it everywhere with her.
