With 2 re-grinded Harbor Freight pry bars for $3.00 I made 2 wood turning carbide tip cutters for 1/10 of the tools at Woodcraft or Rockler. They work great turning my most recent bowl, there easy to make and the price was terrific.

This order got stolen but I bought them again snd they are sk sharoni made little tools to put them in!

They cut very smoothly and show no signs of dulling the edge with white oak.

I bought this set of carbides to make a set of lathe tools. Easily done with 1/2 inch bar stock and turned my own handles. Overall I consider these to be a decent value compared to buying premade lathe tools. They cut very well.

Works very well. Just made my first chisel with one of the cutters, and it easily roughed down some hardwood to a nice cylinder, on its way to being a handle for chisel #2. I would not hesitate buying others cutters.

Cutters work good. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 were the supplied screws, they are metric and three different sizes.
