This product is probably the best thing you could do for your fish tank, as far as keeping it clean.It does exactly as it states it does, eradicates sludge that gets built up over time. I use this in my Back To The Roots fish tank/mini ecosystem.In conjunction with this product, I also have a snail in my fish tank that helps keep it looking clean and fresh. This product was very important to me because my girlfriend made it very clear that she didn't want to have to clean our fish tank every few days. So I purchased this to alleviate that potential problem.Between this product and owning a snail, our fish tank looks and smells great, my girlfriend is happy that she doesn't need to do too much else to maintain the fish, and, most importantly, our Betta fish is happy!

I have a tabletop Aquaponics system in my kitchen to grow basil, with a little gold fish to provide nutrients. I was needing to change the water every 2-3 weeks because it was getting dark and the pump was clogging up.I started adding a cap full of Sludge Eradicator each time I add more water (about once weekly, when the tank is just over half full). I have cleaned the tank once in eight weeks and that was for algae on the glass. The water is staying clean. This purchase was my second bottle.

Worked out better than expected. Easily clears out the hazy color of the tank. Just follow the listed directions!

Didn't work, not sure if it arrived "damaged".
It didn't work. Fish became stressed and died soon after adding it.Product arrived frozen solid since it was winter. Not sure if that "damaged" it somehow. Returned.

Great for hydroponic tanks
Terrific for hydroponics (is that what it's called?) we have the tank with only one living plant on top and haven't had to change the water in 6 months using this stuff

Smell seems to be more or less gone and there has been a bit less build up in the pump. It's 4oz. but the dosage is fairly high so if you have a tank much larger than a few gallons, I'd suggest a bulk size.

Did the job
It does the job, I'm not sure it feels right to say "I love it" its fish tank cleaner.....but it did exactly what it said it would do.
