I wouldn't use them outside. IT does say Indoor and they are battery operated

Are these powered by 2 or 3 aa batteries it states both.

I notice that other replies say 2 batteries. I bought my set in Dec 2019 and used them again this year. Unless the 2020 set is different I repeat that mine definitely have 3 batteries.
