When The Party Gets Going

These lipsticks are cool! I bought one for my daughter, who begged for a lipstick for Christmas, and I liked it so much I ended up buying one for myself as well. Before trying it I thought the color change thing was a bit of a gimmick, but I have to be honest I love the color it appears on both my daughter and me. It actually has more the look of a sheer stain than a thick lipstick... kind of the way your lips might look after eating a red or pink lollipop. It's not really glossy or shiny, more of a matte finish. The "bit lip" look. I think the photos are somewhat misleading in that way because it is nowhere near as bright on us as it is on the models in the photos. Similar shade, but definitely not so bright. Also looks good with a coat of clear lip gloss on top if your lips feel too dry from the lipstick alone.One other note- I got my daughter and myself two different versions (mine is the yellow one, hers is the blue) and they both look pretty much the same on our lips and I couldn't tell a difference between them. Not sure if different varieties are supposed to show up as different shades but at least on us they don't seem to, so if you aren't sure which one to choose I'd just choose the color you like best.
