The only cookware I will now use
All the Xtrema Ceramcor line is amazing ceramic cookware for the burner, microwave, oven, broiler etc. Food doesn't stick to it and you can cook slower and at a lower temperature and have your food healthier. The food actually cooks from the inside out. No toxic anything or heavy metals. I threw out my stainless cookware. I have their kettle too to boil water and anything boiled in it tastes better. No more boiling water in a metal pot for me. Dr Mercola recommends this brand as the only cookware to use. It was designed by the man who worked with corningware years ago and wanted to create this line. He developed the formula and it is made in china in an amazing pottery and they test for any leaching on each firing. This is what I have been wanting years for. They often have sales on their website, ceramcor.com No I do not work for the company. I was a stoneware potter for 30 years and can truly appreciate what goes into making this cookware.

Use this little pot weekly!
I was scared to use this at first, afraid I would break it since that was the biggest complaint I came across reading reviews. I keep the heat low to med low which is plenty to heat soup, toast nuts or even cook small amounts of chicken. I always move my hot pot to a wood cutting board to cool (drastic temp changes can crack it). After completely cooled, I wash in warm water and if needed I use Norwex cleaning paste to get stuck on food off. This is also chemical free...you definitely want to look into their products if this is important to you. I immediately dry and put away in it’s own special place, don’t stack with other things. So yeah, it takes a little extra thought and care but I love it and use it all the time. It’s small, perfect for a large can of soup, etc. Planning on buying a small skillet too.

For healthy cooking, this is it.
Every other kind of cookware (but glass) leeches things I don't want into my food. But not the all-ceramic saucepot. It takes longer to initially heat, but once there, it cooks food from both the inside and out, which I have found enhances the flavor. The downside:Expensive - Compared to all other pots of this size, it's way up there.Fragile - This is my second Xtrema saucepot. The first one chipped on the first day when I knocked it against the sink divider, then completely cracked a few weeks later. (I wasn't even aware of knocking it again.)Can scratch glass cooktops. Never slide it.Cannot be nested in your cabinets.Cannot use metal in it.Handles heat up. You need pot holders to empty it.The upside:Cleans easily.Cooks thoroughly from inside and out simultaneously. You can serve right from this pot.No chemical or elemental leeching. The healthiest form of cookware. Can be used in the microwave, oven or on the stovetop. There's a lot of cons here, but overall, if you're careful, this is the one to go with.

Great product. It is heavy and will break if dropped, but that is to be expected because it is solid ceramic.
