Folding Footrest - Back Relax

Being 4' 8 1/2" (yes that extra half inch counts!), this folding footrest has solved many of my posture issues! I habitually tuck my feet up under me so they don't have to dangle. Due to this I have a chronically tight back and twist that causes ongoing pain. My other option is to tuck my feet under me which causes pins and needles! I didn't have huge expectations for this item, but it has really surprised me. It's light and compact enough to fit into my small backpack style handbag, and I use it at the movies, theatre shows, long dinners and so on. I also slip it under my desk and it encourages me to sit with a straight back when working long hours. It takes seconds to assemble/disassemble and I can usually do it without anyone really taking notice. I have just travelled internationally and decided it's so useful that I packed it in my suitcase. Would highly recommend.

I had my foot rest for years and recently misplaced it. I was in so much discomfort sitting at my desk all day at work without it, until I knew I needed to reorder another one. What a relief it had on my back as well as my posture. It's just enough height to prop my feet up under my desk. Not to mention I can take it with me just by folding it and sticking it in my purse. I had back surgery a few years back and this little miracle worker is such a joy to have. It takes the strain off my back from sitting all day. It doesn't take up much room under my desk. I even take it with me when I go to the doctor's office, it really helps with those long waits. I'll never be without it again, and if I happen to find the other one that was misplaced, then it would be perfect because I would have 2 of them in case I misplace one again. Well worth the money at a reasonable price.

I bought this as a gift for my sister-in-law after she saw mine. A friend also recently bought this after seeing mine. Both of them love it. If you're short (like me) or even if you're not short but have back pain, this is perfect for sitting at a desk or in the car. Keeps my legs at 90 degrees, supporting my lower back and relieving varicose vein issues, also allows my tablet to sit on my lap without sliding off : ) It's light weight and very durable, fits in my purse. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's expensive considering its plastic and fairly small.

I use this for my feet at my computer desk and it's perfect. It's small and sometimes tips over, but I've become used to it and couldn't work without it. Elevates my legs so they don't hang down and hurt from sitting all day. Even folds up to take to the theater where seats are built for giants. Word of warning: if you take it to the theater, secure the ends open with rubber bands (this works) as it can fold up on you accidentally and make a terrible racket.

This product is better than most, because it is small and folds to a size that easily fits into a laptop bag for use on the plane. Many other reviewers mention that it's so small that they can't really get both feet on it - and it is quite small but I can fit both feet on it okay (not well, but it is possible). The main issue I have with this product is that the metal thingies that hold it up when unfolded are not long enough, and the thing collapses (noisily and violently, I might add) as soon as you put weight on it. I have added some of my own engineering to it to make it usable for me, but how this ever made it past any kind of quality control is beyond me.

There aren't words to describe how wonderful this thing really is. I am 5'4", have major back issues and I fly apx 150K miles a year. I will not fly without this. It's lightweight, compact and fits in my purse with no problem. Plane seats are horrible, worse than horrible if you have back issues and this little thing makes it so much more comfortable to fly. It elevates my feet just enough to take the pressure off my back and makes my long flights much easier to handle and bonus my ankles don't swell on transcontinental flights anymore either. I also started taking it to meetings and conferences where I have to sit for any more than a couple of hours. I can't recommend this enough for anyone who is short, has back issues, flys or all of the above.

I bought this for my 90 year old mother to take with her to the Dining Room at her Independent care facility and to prevent her legs from dangling. This footrest worked perfectly. We were amazed at how well it was designed -- it is light weight yet sturdy, easy to set up and fold up, and the size is perfect for a briefcase or, like for my mother, her walker. Well done!

This footstool fits into a purse when folded and can go to restaurants, theaters, and other places where you sit for a long time. If you are short, or have back problems, the footstool provides miraculous comfort in situations where you are used to your feet going to sleep from dangling, or a back ache developing as you sit. My orthopedist saw mine and now recommends them to all of his shorter patients. It seems sturdy and the hinges are firm. I just reordered one because I lost my first one when I forgot to pick it up after a dinner out--so be sure to put your name and phone number on yours.
