A must-have in every kitchen!
This scale has become one of my favorite kitchen essentials, here’s why:PRECISION: First of all I wanted to see how accurate this scale is, so I tested it with a 100g weight: it measured exactly 100g, so very good. Now I know that whether I'm baking, cooking or meal prepping I have the precision I need to ensure the best results every time.VERSATILITY: The scale caters to all my needs. It has a removable cup so you can either measure liquids, or remove the cup and measure solid items onto the flat platform, which comes with a seamless raised rim so the food doesn’t fall out. The removable cup also sits on top of the handle, so you can hold it in place when pouring liquids and it won’t fall.EASE OF USE: The readout on top is a smart touch. You can switch between grams, ounces, milliliters, fluid ounces and cups, though switching units can be tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it (I put up a quick reference memo next to the scale!) it becomes second nature. The tare function is flawless, it zeroes out without a hitch, so it makes measuring multiple ingredients in one go a piece of cake.EASE OF CLEANING: I hate the mess between foods and the cleanup, and the removable cup is not just convenient for measuring but also a breeze to clean. The flat platform is easily washable too thanks to the smooth finish.LIGHTWEIGHT AND WELL-DESIGNED: The design of this scale is thoughtful and user-friendly. The base has rubber pads on the bottom so it won’t slip. It's lightweight, making it easy to move around or store away. I prefer to keep it on the counter top though, as I find that its sleek design is a pleasant addition to my kitchen.GREAT FOR GIFTING: I've already marked this scale as a top gift idea for my fellow cooking enthusiasts. It's practical, innovative, and something that can be used and appreciated every day.I believe this digital scale is a worthwhile investment for anyone who wants to improve their kitchen routine. If you've been on the lookout for a reliable measuring tool for cooking, this is it. Worth every cent!

This thing is brilliant! Could really use a back light.
I honestly got this thing to measure out hydro fluid for fork oil. It zero's so I can use any container, honestly. Many modes of measurement, and its' so sensitive it even told me the weight of a single dried pepper lol. This thing is useful in the kitchen AND in the garage.

I liked it
So far I haven't been able to use it yet to bake. That doesn't mean I didn't play with it when I first got it--weighed lots of stuff. I have had a Taylor for years--It's true plus is the conversion chart--it's minus is the cup isn't removable. I used to drop a coffee filter into the bottom to measure stuff like peanut butter. I hate cramming stuff like that into a measuring cup and then losing a good amount trying to get it back out again.. Same goes for brown sugar--pack it and then "unpack" it into your recipe! Weighing it so much better. Don't get me started on sifted flour. 2 cups of flour sifted is different then 2 cups of sifted flour! My favorite part of your scale is that I can remove the cup and use bottom platform as a flat scale. I use beaker liquid measuring cups for liquids and small bowls for added ingredients--It's perfect. Many of my collected recipes require multiple ingredients and lets face it baking is a science of weights and measures and what looks right to the practiced eye. AND now that the practiced eye ain't what it used to be, I rely on weight. I really like that the readout is on top. It's heck to have to bend down to the handle and then crane your neck up to get a handle readout into the focus of a bifocal!

My New Baking BFF
I usually spoon the flour into a measuring cup and level it off, but while making homemade bread in a machine this wasn't working as well because I was still getting too much flour for the recipe which made my bread dense. I read that you need to weigh your ingredients for best results. I bought this beauty because it was reasonably priced and would fit my needs. Baked my first loaf of bread using the cup to weigh my ingredients and what a difference it made. The only con I can think of is that my old eyes struggled to see the G for grams in the right corner so that could be a little bigger.

False advertisement.
The cup measurements are supposed to be black or red not clear. I ordered 2 one for myself and the other for my daughter in law. So miss leading. Not able to see it. How do the reviews with photos show differently?

Wonderful product, but the marking is white and blends with the plastic - still readable.
