Does it's job, could use a quick write up of which cables to connect.
Read reviews for similar items to find out where to attach cables to. Does it's job so I'm happy.Note: green goes light green (parking cable) black to ground or with the rest of your black cables and blue to your radios remote (blue, most of the time)

Going with an aftermarket headunit? Get one of these...
Install is easy-peasey, just follow the instructions or even other reviews here. The bypass works perfectly on my JVC KW-V66BT receiver installed in a 2004 Toyota Highlander. Just do yourself a favor and install this the first time you about installing the headunit. I was impatient and installed the headunit the day I received it. I wired into the parking brake switch and thought I'd be okay using the parking brake to access all the features of the headunitWrong...It's worth a few bucks and a few minutes of your time to install this simple part. And let me tell you getting to the foot operated parking brake switch on a 1st gen Highlander is a giant PITA. Splicing the bypass unit into three wires behind the headunit isn't.

JVC kw-850bt in 2001 tundra
I installed this micro bypass parking brake override bypass in a 2001 Toyota Tundra with a JVC kw-v850bt receiver. The truck does not have the parking brake wire so I could not access the backup camera settings or watch a dvd because the stereo did not recognize I was parked. The backup camera worked but I could not adjust the lines on the camera. I hooked up the 3 wires as directed and everything worked without problems. I hooked up black wire to the black wire on the stereo and the black wire from the harness. So 3 black wires hooked together. I did not run a 4th to the ground on the truck body which I think the directions were telling me to do.

Works Perfectly For My JVC
This item worked perfectly for my JVC KWV820BT. It was easy to install considering I purchased it as part of the install of my new head unit so I simply wired it during installation. The instructions were straightforward and made it simple.

Works Great
I bought this because I read some reviews about the head unit that I purchased mentioning bluetooth and spotify problems referencing the parking brake. I didn't want to run into that issue in the middle of a road trip so rather than try my luck, I bought this.Works as advertised, was able to play a DVD while my car was moving (tested in my driveway) and that will probably be the only time a disc is used in my car.

Does Not Work on JVC KW-M560BT!
This was a waste of money and did not work. I verified the wiring was correct based on the documentation and what others posted in their reviews. Fortunately I was able to bypass the E Brake on the JVC KW-M560BT by connecting its E Brake Switch wire to common ground and that gave me access to all functions. Its better if you can do it this way so its less wiring since there are already many connections for the Metra Harness Adapters and Axxess Steering Wheel Control adapter.

Not a rip off - For those who couldn't ground
I had purchased a wonderful JVC touchscreen stereo and I wanted to use my phone navigation with it, since I have no place convenient to hold my phone in my car. When I tried to ground the parking brake wire, no matter what I did it did not work. I figured it was worth the $3.00 to buy this to try it, since I blew $300.00 on the stereo to be able to use my GPS WHILE I was driving. This little doo-hickey worked perfectly. There are some stereo units that will NOT let you just ground the parking brake wire, this is the perfect solution! If you aren't able to ground your parking brake wire, get this now!
