This is a good portable lamp that is not too bright (you can read a night with it without if blinding you), but the LED are not bright enough for a desk during the day. The batter is a bit short lived but easy and quick to recharge. My biggest problem, and it is not that big, is the touch sensitive button, or rather depression, sometimes ist is not sensitive enough, I have to search around the depression to get it to change tone and turn off and on. I do like the fact it has two tones and dimmer for each all controlled by the touch sensitive depression.

The cool/warm dimming settings are great for just about every close-range use. The head adjusts quite easily; however, it needs to remain more or less directly over the base because the whole lamp is so lightweight. The button that controls the light loses sensitivity when unplugged particularly as power drains, but otherwise responds quickly and smoothly. Comes with a short mini-USB cable, about 18" long. I'm using my 10' cable plugged into an AC/DC outlet charger.In all, it's a great little sophisticated lamp without a hefty price tag. I'd recommend it.

Tips over easy, also should be an on/off switch to disable the top tap button as it comes on accidentally very easy if something inadvertently touches the tap area. Instructions say to not run the battery all the way down or it will damage it, but this could easily happen if something touches the button and turns it on. Other than those things, nice product and just the amount of light I was looking for to see the keys on my computer keyboard without turning on a bigger light.

I have been hesitating to buy a rechargable light. Order this light mistakenly thinking this is a corded light. It works fine as computer light at night, and small project light for kids. I am glad I bought this one.

I had original written a fairly good review. But since then some things have been disappointing: first, you have to work with it to get it to stand, second, it just broke the charging piece is completely out. I would not recommend this. I purchased this in April of this year, 6 months ago and now I can't use it.

Piece of metal where you connect the power cable came out with the cable and now unable to charge. Don't waste you money. No where in Amazon to contact seller and Amazon doesn't want to be responsible for something shipped by Amazon.

The brightness is negligible, couldn't really tell that it was on. It uses a finger sensor to turn on/off and to adjust settings for kind of light and brightness. It's really hard to use, sensor not sensitive enough to easily change settings. I returned it.

I returned this product because the control feature didn't work. It took several attempts to turn the light on, dim it, brighten it, or switch to warm light or even turn it on or off.I was pleased with the prompt return service. However, only a few months later the charging port came dislodged inside of the base of the unit.It isn't worth my time to return again. I just bought another product. Too bad because this design is nice for small tight spaces.
