Video Catnip

Cat likes it and since it's on loop I can leave it playing.

My cat is currently watching this video, so that’s the good news, however, the background sounds are SO annoying I had to mute it. No sounds, other than nature would have been great.

Didn’t play in our dvd player.

We moved to a new place and needed to transition our indoor/outdoor cat to indoor only. She was pretty stressed at not being able to go out and we were still moving things in and trying to unpack. We didn't want to lock her in a room and stress her out even more so we bought this video. It arrived the next day and she LOVES it! She watched from beginning to end, which allowed us time to get everything inside without worrying she would escape. She's gotten used to being an indoor cat and seems to love being "pampered" inside. And she'll sit by the tv and meow to let us know when she's ready for her "show" again. SO glad we bought it for her.

Omg what a boring, tedious DVD. Mostly one or two birds and tree rats munching on peanuts. One cat looked at it briefly, checked behind the TV then walked away. He showed no more interest in it. The other cat looked at it from across the room then turned and left. It also is black and white, no color. The background sounds like the wind in a tunnel.Occasionally a little chirping.

I bought Video Catnip on a whim for my cat George Hairyson’s second birthday. George was missing our old home where he got to spend each morning staring at birds out the window. It actually became somewhat dangerous because he broke through the screen a few times. I would tell him, George, “You’re an indoor cat. What are you doing?!”But, he had his mind set on the birds.I AM SO GLAD I FOUND VIDEO CATNIP!!!! Ever since I bought this DVD George has watched it every day. My husband and I no longer have to replace our window screens, and he’s a happy cat. I love the look in his eyes when he watches the birds and other creatures go by on screen. Such a fun, but safe activity for cats! It really does keep them entertained for hours.

It’s not as good as the original video from 1989 because they obviously copied it so sometimes the sound goes off. But my cat enjoys it.

I almost didn't buy this because of the reviews. Glad I did. Plenty of birds and squirrels in this one. My cats have 3 other DVD's so they know what they like. And this one is a good one. Doesn't stay too long on any scene so it keeps their attention.
