Unfortunately, I had put off using this for FAR too long, so I am unable to return. I wish I hadn't put off using this because after MANY tutorial videos and web sites, it seems mine is defective. It worked for the first half dozen stitches, but then started being fussy by not working unless the needle height was a certain spot. Even then, it doesn't stitch anything! It's just leaving holes in the fabric. What a bummer! I also feel like I wasted my time on the tutorials, as hand stitching some of my repairs would have yielded faster results. I am assuming my version was faulty, but who knows?! Good thing it wasn't too expensive.

worse than the usual PIECE of junk.part my fault,waited 8 days past return time.this thing will not work,gave it batteries(were none from manufacture),removed the dozen(no kidding)knots from around the guides and housing..only use the thing for basting a quilt to leaders on quilt table.have used this kind before with fair sucess.this will go in the trash,as it is not worth the time terrible or money.if you should need this kind of thing buy diffent brand,maybe cheaper or something ,this is no good .total waste.

I could not get my machine to work initially. However, I was finally able to get it working and so far it works fine. My advice to manufacturer is to include a Troubleshooting section and larger printed instructions**I was able to fix the problem after watching a YouTube tutorial. (a screw & needle needed to be tightened)**

I tried to use this product for really simple sewing. I make and sell handmade scrunchies and all I was trying to do was sew straight line pretty much into cotton/polycotton fabrics. I'm pretty sure my package was missing a few pieces, and it made sewing impossible. I put my own spring onto the bobbin and it worked, but the cheapness of the machine caused issues half the time and was super irritating. I'm someone who tends to give cheap options a try due to budget and income, but this is definitely not worth trying! Please save your money and instead save up for a better portable machine option! I have purchased and used other mini sewing machine options from amazon that were still fairly cheap ($15 approximately) and worked way better! This was a terribly made product as well, the plastic pieces of the machine didn't even line up. I had wanted to return the product but missed the deadline due to a busy school and work schedule. Trust me if I could get my money back for this, as cheap as it was, I would do it. I never like leaving negative reviews but I dont want another person to have to deal with these issues lol.

Not a major sewer so I thought this would be perfect to fix a few dresses and shirts I had. The one I got was clearly previously used before I got it. It was missing a few pieces that on the box says you get. Wish it wasn't someone else's return. Very disappointed.

Don't waste your time and money on this. It doesn't sew at all. May be just sews the piece of cloth that comes with it. I tried it with the cloth that came with it when it arrived but when I tried with the item I had to sew it wouldn't sew. The return window had gone so couldn't return. Please do not buy this product unless some major changes done to it by the manufacturer.

It only worked on the testing cloth that came with it. Even then the stitches were so weakly done, I could lift the thread and the stitches came off. When I removed the testing cloth and used it on a new fabric I had it didn't work at all. The needle was only making holes on the fabric and didn't create any stitches. I googled for a reason and found out that so many people had the same issue. I should've done the research before I bought it. I would give zero stars if I could, but I'm only giving one star because I have to. Will never buy a handheld sewing machine again.

The instructions manual is very confusing, I might just have to let go of the product.
