This 2-way ISO-top ball valve from Tameson with a nominal diameter of 40 mm is designed for on/off flow control. The valve has G 1 1/2 inch female threaded ports. This is BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel. With our range of 1 1/2 inch fittings, the valve can be installed in any pipe (recommended pipe diameter ± 40 - 60 mm).The housing of the valve is made of plastic, the ball is made of and the seals are made of EPDM. The valve is suitable for various media and is often used in applications such as irrigation, swimming pools, water supply and drainage. The valve can be used up to a max pressure of 16 bar (232 psi) and within a temperature range between -10 and 60 °C (14 and 140 °F).The valve has a flange according to the ISO 5211 F05 norm. This makes the valve suitable for electrical or pneumatic actuation. The operating temperature range is from -10 to 60 °C (14 to 140 °F). The whole series is suitable for electrical and pneumatic actuation thanks to the ISO 5211 flange and not equipped with handles for manual control.
