I have seen a couple of reviews on here but I wanted to add my 2 cents. I was somewhat hesitant when purchasing these as I have never used key stickers or a vinyl cover. I did not know how it would affect my typing but after using them for several weeks, all my fears have been alleviated. My biggest concern was wether or not I would be able to read the keys in the dark, whether or not the back lit keys would be visible as I often work at night. I can now say that this is not an issue whatsoever. They keys light up just fine and I am to work unimpeded in the dark. Several reviewers commented that they are hard to put on to which I would say no. They took me about half an hour to put all the stickers on and I am a perfectionist so I am sure others could do it much quicker, but it was in no way difficult. They stickers fit my keyboard well and to be honest I have no complaints. The only thing I would mention that I have not seen in other reviews is the feeling of the keys. One thing I loved about my new macbook pro (mid 2014) is the smooth feeling of the keyboard. I love that feeling and when I initially put the stickers on I was greatly disappointed. My fingers no longer glide seemlessly across the keys and initially I did not like this. I will say I prefer the smooth feeling of the keys as is but I quickly adjusted to the new feeling of the stickers and it has not been a problem at all. The other issue I have seen other people comment on is the difficulty typing. While I do believe this is a valid concern, I do not believe it is a problem. It is somewhat mesmerizing to look at the keyboard with all the different colors, shapes, and designs. This takes a couple days to get used to but you do get used to it. What ends up happening is muscle memory takes over and you end up typing completely normally. The one issue is when I am sitting back and I am trying to finger peck a certain key/number, this takes longer and requires more thought than on a traditional keyboard. Despite this minor setback, I still consider this to be a great product and it is well worth the money. If you are a comic fan then it is a must have for all mac users. I cannot yet speak to their durability as I have only used them for about a month but if anything changes I will update my review. If you are on the fence like I was just go for it, you won't regret it. Hope this helps.Update: 11/30/20I have now had these on my MacBook for over five years and they still look great. None of them have peeled off and I still get compliments constantly. This was a great purchase.

I did not think I could love this even more and just love my MacBook and so does everyone else! I stand by my long review and here is a new picture to show how awesome and great these are!This may possibly be the best and coolest thing I have ever ordered from Amazon. I love anything D.C or Marvel related and when I saw these decals I knew I had to order them but I was a little hesitant. Don't be! This is well worth the price and so easy to put on. The trick is using TWEEZERS and it maybe took me 10 minutes and I am a bit of a perfectionist. I mean nobody wants crooked decals on anything but by using tweezers it was so easy. I was also worried about if my MacBook keyboard would still be as smooth as before and if the lights from the keys would still even light up. I have to admit my keyboard is still very smooth but not as smooth as before but after one day I don't even notice. The light from the keys are dimmed but not by much and it actually lights up the decals to make them look cooler. In just the few days I have had them I have gotten compliments from strangers in the library and all my co-workers are envious! I would definitely tell anyone that if you are on the fence or a little hesitant like I was don't be and just get them! I also can not say enough about the shipping. I placed the order on a Monday and they were shipped out the next morning and I got them on Wednesday. I would still be waiting two weeks if I had to wait on the dates Amazon gave me.

Super tricky to put on if you are a perfectionist as I am. I applied each and every sticker using tweezers, which I'm absolutely glad I did because my fingers are too short and stubby to precisely apply the stickers in a way they'll be functional long-term. So I used tweezers and it took me about 45 minutes to an hour to place them properly. Good news is, i found that when I didn't put a stick on as straight as I wanted, I found it super easy to pull back the sticker with the tweezers and try applying again. The colors of the stickers are beautiful and fairly vibrant and I find it does not interfere too much with the backlight of my macbook air. Every single time I open my laptop and see my keyboard decals, it brings me serious marie kondo-like joy. I am so very pleased I purchased these key decals and stopped wasting my money and time looking for those super silly and useless (long-term) silicone keyboard covers. Also, if you're a comic book nerd, these are excellent - i love them, always get compliments on them and would absolutely 100% purchase these again.

It is a definite conversation piece...so many people stop and ask about it as they walk by
