So Long P0421 Error!
Great replacement for the stock rusted out cats that have been on my TJ since 2006 when it was built. The CPU has been throwing P0421 errors left and right since my OEM cats were no longer actually treating the exhaust gases. The bends, hangers, and pipes are the exact same as OEM, but as you can see from the pics, the new cats are much bigger than OEM. The larger cats did not create any clearance issues during the swap, but man are the upper bolts a pain to get to. Three words for you: "ratcheting box wrench!" While I was in there, I went with a new set of sensors and suggest you do the same. Make sure to have a code reader on hand to clear the check engine light that will inevitably come on when you turn it over the first time.

Poor Quality - Will not last on Jeep 4.0 - UPDATE
Update on status. Seller was great to work with. They sent a warranty replacement and RMA to return the unit. Here's the deal though. The Eastern Catalytic assembly is still made the same way, so I'm not sure how long it will last. I added a clamp to support the weak weld on at the hanger rod, and was very careful to make sure the flanges are equally torqued. I also added all new OEM hardware at the exhaust manifold, which was an extra $40. The entire assembly is still just supported by the swedged pipes, which is still a weak point because the pipe thins after that process. Not sure how others are manufactured, but assuming this is where the significant difference in cost is attributed. Changing to 3 stars (5 for seller / 1 for product). Hope this helps..I installed this on my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Thought it was a great deal at first, but kept having problems with the flanges loosening up and the back cat would always touch the transfer case. Finally when the Jeep wouldnt pass emission inspection, I removed the assembly and found that the weld had broken, which was causing excess movement. The back flange mount had bent a little under the heat that the swedge had cracked. This is a poor design. The entire assembly is hanging on the small swedges and there is not enough material to hold the system against the exhaust manifold. SAVE YOUR TIME and MONEY and just purchase a quality replacement. You get what you pay for and expect to replace this again within a couple of years. I reached out to the seller for comment and warranty information, but no response yet. My next step before replacing is to see if a local exhaust shop can repair and improve the flanges because the cats seem to be in good shape.

Perfect Converter/Awesome Seller
Easy install on my 2006 Jeep LJ Unlimited. It came in two pieces which made installation super easy. Just remember it is easier to drop the skid plate to get at the muffler bolts. Make sure you get a 2.5” lap joint exhaust band clamp. The unit is in two pieces and could use the added support of the lap joint clamp over the cheap u-clamp. The u-joint it comes with doesn’t hold the two pieces together. This is the lap joint clamp I used:EVIL ENERGY 2.5" Lap Joint Exhaust Band Clamp Exhaust Repair Preformed 304 Stainless Steel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078TVV4FT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8R9cDb5Y9RS5ZUpdate:This Seller is amazing. Unfortunately, I had an issue with my unit where the welds didn’t hold up. The catalytic converter had lasted me only 5 months use before I noticed my engine light back on. I contacted the seller and in no time they accepted my refund. I quickly ordered a new one which was updated and even better than the first unit! This one will hold up nicely. I noticed a more compact routing which more closely hugs the oil pan and lack of dimples than the first converter. 5 stars for the product and customer service! I’m so grateful to have my Jeep up and running.

Perfect replacement for 2004 Jeep Wrangler
I bought this for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler 4.0. Well made replacement with mandrel bends. It does have additional heat shields that the factory unit did not have. It was a bit harder to install bc of this but fortunately I had read a previous review that said you could use a ratcheting 15 mm box end wrench which is what I did and it worked perfectly. I also used the evil energy 2.5 inch band clamp recommended and it worked perfectly. Now my Jeep runs like new again.

Excellent price, good product
Very reasonably priced, especially compared to OEM replacement. 2 piece design makes it much easier to install. I'd recommend getting a 2 3/4 inch exhaust band clamp so it's easier to undo in the future. Using the included clamp will cause the tubing to clamp and essentially weld to itself internally.

Good Quality parts for a reasonable price.
Fit perfect. My Jeep TJ exhaust was plugged and causing a lack of power and misfiring. Replaced the exhaust and it runs great. Very pleased with the exhaust system. Made in the Carolinas.

This does fit the 03 tj i6 5speed.
Amazon needs to update the fitment. Exact fit on my 03 TJ i6 6speed.It comes in 2 pieces. The box had a hole so I'm not sure if it came with new bolts, the muffler clamp was still in the box.

Great product
Perfect fit and great price. My OEM catalytic was well past its effective life at 150k miles. Needed new one to pass emissions. This arrived in a tattered box but was complete and undamaged. They do cut the long section in half for shipping and it needs to be welded back together during install.
