The Thickets Paperback – February 15, 2015

I read the book in 2 night's it was well written and kept me interested . I have hunted in the thicket and I could visualize all the places in the book . One of the best reads in years for me cant wait for John Hardy's next book . The thickets would make a good movie.David Dove

Very easy and fun to read ! An interesting story of growing up in east texas! you got to read this and crawl inside the mind of someone who has been there and done it!

Grew up on the Trinity River myself. The imagery of East Texas is evocative of my youth and brought me right back to my childhood home. The story is gripping. Enjoyed every minute.

The book was riveting, I almost stayed up all night when I first received it. The characters were interesting and believable. I feel as I have lost part of my family now that I have finished the book.

This book was one of the best I have ever read, action on every page. Could not put it down. Looking forward to John's next book.
