Black & White Houndstooth Cashmere Scarf Made in Scotland

Very soft . Was given as a gift and I would love a second one for myself.The one con is that it is advertised as made in Scotland . No where on the scarf label does it say that . In fact the label is in Chinese.

This scarf is not from Scotland, the package clearly showed that it came from China. There was no label indicating what the fabric is - perhaps it is cashmere, but I can't tell. Also, the weave is fairly loose so it tends to snag easily, especially on rings, watches, or bracelets. However, the scarf is very soft and warm. It is quite wide and long enough to fold in half lengthwise, wrap around my neck, then loop and pull the ends through and still have long ends. It looks very good with my winter coat and keeps me warm.

I love checks, I love black and white, but the white was oh, so WHITE! I was expecting a very inexpensively made scarf (which was fine, I go through them like mad), but the white pops way too much.

I bought this scarf to replace one I bought at Macy's that self shredded as I wore it. This one is beautifully made and looks great no matter how often I wear it. This is truly a nice scarf.
