Overheats. Still works, but My wife is too scared to use it because of how hot it gets.

Stopped working after 2 months of low use
Bought in February of 2018 and used with my MacBook Pro regularly for 2 months and then the video ports stopped working completely. It wasn't heavy use--maybe 8-10 hours a week. Disappointing for such an expensive purchase.

Do not buy. Quit working after a few months.

If you plan on using this device for longer than a few months, look elsewhere...
Four months on, the USB-C charging port has stopped working. For $70, you expect a little more longevity.

Great idea, not so great execution
Great idea, not so great execution. I hope very soon all devices, including iPhones and iPads, go to using USB-C. The only issue I have with this device is that it's not full 4K for my users' mac book pro connecting to his external display. That was a bit disappointing for he and I.
