Labradar Bench Mount

This is a scientific instrument that works. I know it works because the data it generates is reflected on my targets. Being a scientific instrument, you must RTFM before using it. If you don’t RTFM, you could get angry and then make a YouTube video where you make a fool of yourself.Don’t be dissuaded from buying this by fools. If you use this instrument to measure the performance of your loads, you’ll know what’s wrong with them. If you know what’s wrong with your loads, you can figure out how to fix them.It won’t make you shoot better, but it will help with getting you to the point where the only thing left to fix is your shooting technique.

Bought this to go along with the  Labradar Ballistic Velocity Doppler Radar  and it does a phenomenal job keeping the chrono secure while using it. Others have complained of the cost, but honestly it's not terribly overpriced for what you get...similar to the Labradar itself. It's an expensive piece of kit, but it's worth it...same story with this baseplate. I've had chronographs get ruined in the past from cheap tripods getting blown over in a stiff breeze, and I didn't want to take any chances with the Labradar so I bought this and will do my shooting from a bench. So far, it has worked flawlessly. No complaints.

Used this with the Labradar unit for use on a bench. Probably the best for prone too. However, if you plan on using the Labradar unit while standing then a longer camera tripod would be a better choice. I found a cheap camera tripod here on Amazon that will work with it too.

Unlike optical chronographs, the Labradar does not have to be yards in front of the muzzle. This accessory lets the unit be set right on the bench from which you are shooting. I delayed buying it for mine....wish I hadn't.

This is better than the tripod, definately worth the extra, but available directly for less.
