Thai and True Pad Thai Tamari Sauce, 10 fl oz

I would love to tell you how much I love this thai sauce, but unfortunately the poorly bubble wrapped glass bottle broke during shipping, leaving all 10oz of the sauce puddled up in the bottom of the box, and the sides of the box, and the surfaces of all its neighbors' boxes while in transit. It looked like a horror scene from a low budget film and stunk up (mostly strong vinegar smell) the overseas mailroom (and probably airplane too) in which it sat and festered in the heat of summer. Glass bottles are great in the grocery store, but not a virtual store especially if it is being shipped overseas. Go plastic bottle next time or wrap it with much more than one flimsy layer of busted bubble wrap. If you order it, I sincerely hope you get an undamaged bottle! Let me know how it tastes.Sorry for the 1 star as I know this is a packaging issue, but customers need to be aware of the rising issue of broken bottles with this thai sauce. Looks like it is happening often.

It is my understanding that my review is to rate the product itself and not the process of obtaining the product. I love this sauce. To me, it is like liquid crack. I was very disappointed when I ordered two bottles recently and they were not deliverable as they were damaged and leaking. The vendor is now out of the product so my only option was refund. I have noticed in previous orders that it wasn't packaged very well and I think I just got lucky getting them in one piece before now. I see that another reviewer had issues with damage as well. When and if it actually makes it to you, I think it's delicious though!!!!!

Sweet and tangy, would use it again. But it's watery, thought it'd be a consistency of vegan oyster sauce.

So little ingredients but wow it's Pad Thai at home instead of always going to a restuarant. I can't have any gluten in my food and I love to eat out which is almost a thing of the past. I have traveled a lot so I can cook many different cuisines at home but I don't want to do everything from scratch especially Thia. Great product. Thank you.

At least I have been promised a credit on my card. The item made all the way to the P.O. that services my home and then it was not deliverable because it was damaged.

This arrived intact. It tastes really good, the whole family loves it - which means a 10 oz. bottle doesn't last long. It tastes more like tamari than pad Thai so the kids want to pour it on everything. So I can't say it's really cost effective in such small containers.

Its very good. Not exactly the taste I expected, but it was super delicious. This makes a wonderful addition to anyone's kitchen, vegan or or not!
