Seeduck Big Girls' Winter Parka Down Coat Puffer Jacket Padded Overcoat with Fur Hood

I’m furious. Not as advertised. I spent $60 on this coat and it looks ridiculous. My daughter wanted this for Christmas. I’m not giving her this garbage. Waste of money. Looks in the pic that its a huge fur rimmed hood. It’s not. See the ridiculous pics.

Daughter wears size 10 in tops and size 7/8 in pants . She’s 7 yrs old . So she’s tall and on the slender side . Ordered size 11t. Fits good IMO. A little big but that’s how it should be with these types of coats , u don’t want a tight long coat. So I’m hoping we can get one more year out of it. The only con, I wish it was warmer. She did complain about how cold she was bc the coat is not lined. We add extra layers and she’s ok. Btw, the fur top is indeed nice.*****Update *****So a few days after writing this review I noticed my daughter was having a very difficult time zippering up the jacket herself. I checked it out myself and noticed it is pretty flimsy. It’s a plastic zipper. And I had a hard time zippering it up myself . Well fast forward to a week later and the zipper started to open up on her . We kept trying to be as gentle as possible until it came apart today!!! One of the coldest mornings!! I went to the local seamstress and she told me that the entire track needed replacing and showed me how cheap it is. she said it’s just not a good zipper for this type of coat . And she wants to charge me $25 . I’m returning this coat today and if I don’t find another one for her today at the store I’ll re order and take another chance only because my daughter really likes it!! Hopefully not tho because it’s not with the aggravation. She said this coat being so long needs a metal heavy duty zipper. Ugh .

I bought a size 5 for my 4 yo. It is a little big, but I love the extra length it provides. The jacket is really light, but super warm. The lime green is bright, but subtle, not tacky. It also has a "fit and flair" style, so it looks very delicate and feminine on my daughter, not bulky like some other winter coats appear. My daughter has received a lot of compliments. I have no complaints with the zipper, but the hood does come detached periodically. No big deal for me since the coat is so nice for the price. I would definitely purchase this again.

I wish I could really express my dissatisfaction with this "coat", but they probably wouldn't post the language I would use. Keep in mind this review is immediately after opening the package. This coat has not been worn and won't be worn because it's going back for a refund.First of all, this "coat" is basically a windbreaker. The "80% down" is so thin, it's completely ineffective. It's not warm enough for anything one would want a down coat for. The sizes also run small.Now for the quality. I saw some of the negative reviews on here and thought "For $60, how bad could it be? And there are some positive reviews too. It'll be ok." Wow, was I wrong. The jacket came unzipped and unbuttoned, sealed in a plastic bag. Nothing wrong with that, just means all of the issues I am about to describe occurred before packaging, and therefore before shipment from the factory.Upon removing it from the plastic bag, I soon noticed that one of the snaps had been ripped out of the front of the coat. The detachable fur trim on the hood was missing more than half of its buttons, and it was clear where they had been. These missing buttons were not in the plastic bag either, so they were missing before the coat was ever packaged. The side pockets were also missing the inside part of their snaps as well. The zipper is very cheap. Trying to zip it was very grindy and I can see why a lot of people have reported the zippers breaking.Very disappointed with this purchase and will be returning it for a refund. Based on the reviews I've seen here and my experience now, I can confidently tell you, my fellow shoppers, to buy another coat.

Really love these coats for my girls. Fits perfect and great quality. The fur attaches via buttons. The coats are heavy and zippers seems heavy duty plastic. Fur is super soft also.

This was a cute, thick coat. it will need a sweater or jacket layered underneath. there is not a fabric liner inside the coat. my daughter liked it, but it arrived with no fur attached. I sent it back and reordered. Hopefully, they will get it right this time. My daughter wears a size 6x. I ordered the 9T which is pretty big on her. I will tuck the sleeves in a bit. She is sure to get at least 2 years of wear out of this, provided that the coat holds up to wear and tear.I will do an update once I receive the new coat.

This was a totally different coat than what it shown in the picture. It arrived in a bag and it was so thin and flimsy I couldn’t even believe the coat was inside the bag. It was a joke at the price, I returned it immediately.

I got the coat for my daughter who is 6yrs old, going on 7yrs old. The coat goes pass her knees which is great & the sleeves are long enough, the coat is thick which is great for winter. The color is a bright pink and I love it! Easy for her to zip and take off. the only minor is the fur on the hood its not enough hooks which I will add it gaps like its coming off even though its not. the hood is not removable but the fur is I like that for her, especially for school it will stay on the hook. Definitely a great buy. I got size 11, I'll order another in a bigger size just to have another color. xo
