Comprehensive and informative
Whilst some of the photos are a little dated, this book is very comprehensive and informative. After just flicking through it when it arrived I was already learning the reason behind some of the faults I've experienced with my pots and galzes.Looking forward having a really good read through this.

Steeped in decades of experience.
Excellent both as general reference and for actual trouble shooting. Mr Fraser has many, many years experience with both ceramics studio potters and large-scale commercial industry, and this shows in this book (and also in the elec kiln course we attended that he co-instructed). Pick this book up 'as new' second hand and you can find a great deal.

Excellent book!
I wish I knew about this book long before, it shares knowledge often kept secret by people in the trade. I could see remedies to product defects of my ceramic pieces and those of much more experienced than myself. I will buy more copies to pass to my friends!

A wealth of information
Had read a copy of this book before we bought, so we knew what we were getting. Very interesting.
