Durchdachtes Produkt

Great Modular Lens Carriers
In the old days, I would hump my gear on my back in a camera backpack, That worked ok but every time I needed a lens change, I had to take the backpack off, dig out the lens and put the pack back on again. On one particularly very hot humid day a couple years ago, I had been on a three day hike and each night as I stopped for rest, my back and the backpack were soaked in sweat. Having something on your back trapping heat is not fun when it is 100 degrees. I discovered a better solution " Think Tank ".Their solution places the lens in carriers around your waist on a belt carrier. For me this is much better as it places the center of gravity lower, and gets that pack off my back. I now can simply reach to either side and pull a lens out and make a change - quick and simple.I use my Think Tank Lens Changer 50 for a 45mm PCE or my Nikkor 16-35.These little lens holders have compartments that can be opened to extract a built in rain cover for those situations. The rain cover is connected to the changer, so you will not loose it.Overall, they are great, and go on a belt carrier system by pulling the Velcro strap open, then refasten around the belt - it is very secure but easy to get on and off without having to un-thread the other items on the belt. The V2.0 changers come with small side pocket to carry say a spare battery or something small. Be advised the carriers offer little protective padding for the lens, they are designed for ease of use and access not protection from drops etc. Please note the belt is sold separate.

good lens case
i bought two of these cases to carry lenses with the steroid speed belt. the belt is great. and this bag is pretty good too. i purchased two of this size and one of the larger size. my main attraction to these bags was the suggestion that they would hold the lenses with the hood still in place. i hate to fumble with a hood when i'm trying to react quickly to a photo opportunity. but the reality is these bags are not true to their stated interior measurements. i measured my tamron 90mm macro with the hood in place and the measurements were within the stated measurements of the bag. but the lens will not fit. it's about a 1/2 inch too long when the hood is place. if i tug hard at the zipper and squeeze it, i might be able to get the zipper closed, but that kind of treatment will only result in a busted zipper and a very frustrated photographer. the quality of the product is great. it just won't accept a lens of the size they claim. and my tamron 24-70 fits but it's pretty tight.

Perfect for switching between two wide-angle lenses
I shoot real estate and switch back and forth between the Nikon 16-35 f/4 and the 24mm tilt shift. This item is the perfect fit for the 24mm, and is a little bit big for the 16-35. No worries, the elasticized drawstring holds both securely. There are two stretchy pockets on the outside that happen to be just right for holding bodycap/back cap in one and lens front cap in the other. I have the pouch on my Speed Belt along with an App House 7 and two pouches that are just right for holding small flashes. If you switch wide angle lenses (short and fat, as opposed to long and skinny like tele lenses), you need to stick this pouch on your belt.

Perfect pouch
Perfect size. I use the SpiderBelt but their lens pouches are so much more expensive so I have a couple of these on my belt. It works great for my 24-120 lens or smaller and can even use it for cell phone or flash, etc. if the 24-120 is the lens I am shooting with leaving the pouch open. I have the Think Tank larger pouch on my belt as well to hold my 70-200. Love these pouches

Amazing but could be better.
This pouch is next to perfect. Its nice a deep, made out of great material, and can be sealed in the rain. The pockets in the front are great for additional camera or speedlight batteries as well. My only recommendation would be the addition of a zipper on either side of the pouch. To be able to hold SD cards and not have to worry about them falling out would be AMAZINGGGGGG.

Think Tank lens changers are well made and the work great.
The Think Tank lens changers are well made and the work great. I have shot two events using them since I got this, and I love them. I am using mine with a Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 lens and a Sigma 10-20mm f 4-5.6 lens. I bought two of the Lens Changer 50s, and one of the 75s for my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8. I wore the belt system for around 8 hours and it was very comfortable. The Lens changers made swapping out the lenses pretty easy. I highly recommend them.

Nicely built. Usual Think Tank quality
Hang this off my 511 belt for carrying extra lens for a quick change. A little bulky on my hip [I'm not exactly small] for moving thru tight places but then thats me. Other wise it does its job very very well. Nicely built. Usual Think Tank quality. You get what you pay for.

Think Tank products rock
Excellent Pouch, I store my Tamron SP 24-70mm f2.8 VC, and my Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8L in the 2 I ordered from Amazon. In the field both lenses are easy to remove, and insert back into the bag. Comes with a inner flap, and rain cover.

Good
Think Tank products just work. I've yet to have a bad one and I've a fair few from small pockets to big rucksacks. I trust it to hold a lens worth a few thousand dollars!

A very good pouch.
I needed a pouch that would hold one of my lenses while the other lens was on the camera. I also wanted the pouch to hold the lens shades for both my wide angle and telephoto lenses. It can be carried either on my belt or shoulder strap. It meets all of my needs for strolling with my camera without carrying my backpack.
