Excellent product, but I'd like to have had a pictorial as to how it is to be installed
All metal face and outlet masks make these a solid unit with the Sealproof outlet boxes I purchased with them. I had some difficulty understanding which pieces went on when, and a bit longer screw would have helped. The screw-head provided not clear the hole in the "keyhole", but I found plain old switch screws worked fine, and were a bit longer. Best part of this setup was that the outlet spacings were precision, not futzing with a screwdriver over-and-over trying to get them aligned. Did I mention I liked the all-metal construction? Only thing I found to fuss about is the the covers are spring-loaded to snap shut, but not to hold in full-open position, which makes plugging in a two-handed operation every time. This item was 'way beyond the quality I expected after buying stuff at HD and Lowe's. I highly recommend.

Very good for $10
These sealed faceplates are getting very expensive. I like them in my wood shop to keep dust out of my receptacles. I received my first one today. After inspecting it I decided to buy 2 more. This is a good very product for $10.

Perfect ♡
Wonderful and exactly as advertised ♡I bought this to put over our kitchen garbage disposal switch, to make sure our rambunctious kitty doesn't accidentally turn it on when we're not around: installation was a breeze, looks nice and organized, and it is a great sturdy safety lock.I recommend!

All-metal, easy to install
Used it as an outdoor switch cover. Lids raise only to 90°, so sight is impeded if box mounted low. Appreciated all-metal construction, including inserts. As others noted, inserts fall out during installation until unit is entirely screwed down, but a strip of package tape across the bottom solves that and can be removed after installation. Be sure to carve foam inside lids BEFORE installation, as the foam scoring is nowhere near useful and lids don't raise past 90°.

Just what I needed.
Installed new ceramic tile on the wall behind my outdoor grill and needed a weatherproof outlet receptacle cover. The wall outlet, which is under a patio cover, was still exposed to enough humidity that it would rust. Looked at several hardware stores, but none had anything I liked. Found this one on Amazon; just what I needed. The ONLY issue was during installation - the spring-loaded covers fight you when you're trying to screw the cover to the outlet box. Just take your time and have patience - the result is well worth it.

Easy installation--looks great, works great
I installed this cover two weekends ago. Its classic all-metal design really stood out to me compared to the ones I found for sale at the local big box stores. Even the receptacle face plates on this cover are metal. I also like the low profile of the flip-up covers over the plastic bubble popular today.

This type is hard to find!
Seems like all I can find in the hardware store these days is the big plastic "in use" type of outlet cover. Not sure why they're so popular... they're ugly, easily broken, and expensive! I prefer this "old school" type - sturdy, metal cover with good rubber seals inside. This is the one you want - skip the plastic ones!
