First, this table gets four stars because it came with a few scrapes and nicks that may have been because of FedEx shipping (found it propped up against the side of our carport post) or from the warehouse. Also, although it was supposed to be delivered on the 6th, there was a mix up which I had to resolve through several emails before getting a new shipment sent. I received it today, the 14th. It may have been resolved sooner had I not waited to see if the tracking would be updated. Either way, it was nicked on the tabletop, scraped and dented along the edge, and the shelf in the center of the table was cracked. Along with this, the packages for the table legs and shelf were secured into the bottom of the table top with stapled in straps which when trying to remove the staples left the bottom of the table rough and jagged as this is not a solid piece of wood. Very bad thinking on the part of either the shipping company or manufacturer, but in order to avoid further damaging the underside of the table, I just cut the straps off as close to the staples as possible and left the rest in place. But, although this table is not made of solid wood it is very sturdy and well-made. Beautiful dark mahogany color with some gradient detail on table top. The legs are soft feeling but when put all together everything feels solid and stable. There are leveling screws on the bottom of the legs. It is easy to put together, but heavy enough to require two people to move and lift after assembly. A great buy overall, since it it has the look of the more expensive tables but costs a lot less. I have included a few pics of the table for prosperity. Sorry if they are turned, not sure how to remedy that on Amazon.
