Really easy to set up. And really easy for elderly to use.😊

I bought this for my mom who has severe macular degeneration. She was constantly asking me what time it was because she couldn’t see even the biggest of numbers. This talking clock is perfect for her. It appears to be well made and has a clear speaking voice. Some of the talking clocks don’t. I ended up returning one clock because the voice was so poorly done. I’m very happy with this clock and so is my mom.

My wife now has two of them one in the bedroom and another in the Livingroom this way she does not have to carry one around. She loves them and uses them all the time.

First of all, it's probably smaller than you think it is. I'm not saying this listing is deceptive, though the one image of the girl giving the clock to her grandmother shows a box at least twice as big as the actual box. I was almost shocked at how small the clock is. That said, the size is fine. It's not so small that it'll get lost or too small to be seen by an elderly person. It has good grippy feet that keeping it from sliding. So, it's fine. It's just the first impression I got was, wow, this is so small!The voice is clear and understandable. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. Setting the clock is simple.There's only really two downsides to this product so far. One, there's no volume control. What you get is what you get. I think it's loud enough for my mom, but for someone more hard of hearing this might not be the product you need.Second problem is if the button is held down for three seconds the clock goes into "standby mode" (basically turns off) and won't do anything until the button is held down for three seconds again. I bought this clock for my mom who has dementia. I told her to just press the button and it will tell you the time. Of course, the first thing she does is hold the button down until it goes into standby mode.I can't really blame her. The clock doesn't tell the time when the button is pressed down, it tells the time when the button is released. I can see a lot of elderly people holding the button down waiting to hear the time only to put the clock into standby mode. If they make a new version of this product someday I think that's something they should consider improving, or just removing the standby function completely.But over all, I think it's a pretty good product. Having now seen it in person, I'm not so sure about the price. Feels more like a $10 or $15 product. But, I can understand the call for these items being low enough that they'd have to charge more to make producing them worth it. Bottom line, if the person receiving this clock can hear fairly well and can understand to not to hold the button down, this product does what it says on the tin.

My 92 year old Mother In-Law has very low sight and has recently been asking what time is it and what day is it and this has been very helpful! She just has to press it when needed. I especially searched for one that says the day before the date and this one does that. Thankful for this product!

This item was the answer to my elderly mom’s need to know the time. (She has Poor vision) Volume was good and easy to understand. However, it had not been dropped/damaged when it stopped working only after 5-6 weeks of use. At first it restarted but when in ‘off’ mode and now nothing. This is not something made to last and it’s $25 price tag is a joke. Too bad as it did work.

Einfach zu handhaben. Die Einstellung war erst gewöhnungsbedürftig, hat aber gut geklappt.Batterien nicht dabei.Die Sprachuhr sagt seit 4 Wochen tadellos die genaue Zeit an.Spricht laut und deutlich .Super für Menschen mit schlechten Augen.

C'est relativement facile de placer l'heure, la date et le réveil. Le son est bon également et c'est en français. Quel bonheur! Achat fait pour ma mère âgée de 84 ans avec une déficience visuelle. Elle est très contente de cet achat. :)
