Luxury Cotton Terry Zippered Mattress Protector and Encasement - Bed Bug Dust Mite Proof, Hypoallergenic, Water Resistant - Rest Comfort (Queen, Stretches 9”-15 Depth)

I installed this encasement on a brand new (and pretty expensive) Stearns & Foster mattress/box spring unit that was delivered today. The mattress/box spring unit (excluding the matching S & F 5" foundation I also bought as a set - but which I did not encase separately) is 13.5" deep per the S & F label. That measurement was 100% correct per my own measurements with a tape measure. The encasement fit like a glove...VERY TIGHT but still able to zip it up with a normal amount of care being exercised. This is exactly what I was hoping would happen when I ordered it....because I hate bedding of any sort that has a sloppy fit. So in this respect I could not be happier.If my new mattress was even 1/2" thicker, getting the encasement zipped up without tearing the zipper might have been a problem. This queen encasement is stated to accommodate a 15" thick mattress. However, after seeing how tightly this one fits my 13.5" mattress, I think a 15" thick mattress might be problematic...and perhaps result in a torn zipper. I offer this comment to those who are trying to figure out the best size to buy.I don't know how well the encasement will function - but time will tell. I don't have a bed bug problem - and didn't buy it for that reason. Bought it for the waterproof/staining/seepage protection properties instead. Will add a waterproof mattress pad for a double-layer of protection. Any sort of stain voids your mattress warranty - so be extra careful in this respect...especially if you're spending big bucks on a new set.One last point. The material on this encasement (cotton-terry) is as advertised. It has a very nice (and very soft) feel - and I can already tell (without ever having used it) that it will be totally noiseless. If this is a concern for you, rest assured the advertising is accurate in this respect.I normally don't write product reviews...and I did not get paid to write this one. Rather, this product was exactly what I was looking for in the respects mentioned...and I wanted to offer a totally unbiased assessment of the "fit issue" for anyone with the same concerns I had.

Very soft unnoticeable. Mattress protector incasement worked great for a pillow top mattress well recommended to protect your mattress against any moisture issues or bedbugs trying to make your mattress their home

I'm very happy with this purchase. I have a brand new, queen sized mattress that is very thick with a lot of padding and this mattress encasement fit it perfectly! It was easy to put on and encase the entire mattress and was easy to zip up. I love the terrycloth feel of the cover and it actually keeps my mattress pad from moving around. Others covers I found in stores were more expensive, cheaply made and inadequate. Also, a terrycloth surface is hard to find in a mattress encasement. It looks really nice and I also don't sweat like I have with other mattress encasements. I'm so pleased that I ordered this to protect my brand new mattress and to help with my dust mite allergies.

All stars are for after washing, as I did not pay close attention nor did I attempt to use it before it was washed in my own comfy scents. The encasement went on easily with 3 people working together. The zipper is smooth and the added touches with the Velcro and the elastic close at the end adds confidence to the protection this encasement will give. I am using it with no other mattress padding and I have slept good onIt once so far and had a good night's rest. I did feel some heat, but not unbearable and upon a roll, the heat quickly dissapiated. It allows the mattress's own qualities to be realized by not being bulky or overly padded. It is noiseless and it's non constricting. So far I am pleased with how it washed and how it has felt in the one night I've used it. I will post more if anything drastically changes from this first night of use. I would recommend this product. The price is excellent.

I got this cover to put on my daughters bed just in case of accidents as well as our Poppy sleeps on his bed as well. so i wanted to make cleaning it much easier. I was worried that it being waterproof that it might be “crunchy” sounding when he moved around on it but it’s not at all! Im surprised at how quiet it is and also how soft, it has a really nice towel like texture to it adding a little extra padding even. It’s been great so far, washed beautifully, and really great quality for the price. Five stars

I have a therapeutic bed and the cover got damaged after been wash several times. I wanted something simple and affordable. My mattress is already soft and comfy. This cover sealed completely the mattress. On top of that, I used A bed cover and I can tell you that the bed does not feel hot. I am glad because that was my biggest fear. I give this product a grade 10/10. It.s thin, soft, white. I just love it if it fits perfectly.

The protective waterproof encasing material is only on the top. It is just a thin Netted material on the sides and bottom. Which won’t protect on those sides. Which is not what I’d described. So only the top is protected from anything. Though the top protection is good with plastic on underside and a nice terry cloth on top. It’s not what I wanted so I will be asking for a refund.

This product appears to be as described. It has a cotton terry texture on top with a waterproof backing.I also purchased pillow protectors to go with this product. As described, they seem to definitelyallow airflow through, and they do not cause you to feel warm a person sleeping on it won't know it's there. Neitherare they noisy or "crinkly" when you move in the bed. I am a senior plusand didn't have any trouble putting it on, a littlejuggling. I am glad with the purchase.

Fits like a glove, you'll need a second pair of hands to help put it on the mattress.
