So far so good. Had it for about a week. Works as well as original. Night and day comparison to the cheaper one you can get on Amazon.

I always buy this remote control when I lose mine at home; it works just like the original, it's incredible.

This is a great extra remote to have at home. It’s the kind of thing your husband says, “Honey, I lost the remote again,” and you’re so glad you have a backup. Perfect for when the remote disappears into the couch cushions or somehow ends up in the toy box with the kids’ toys. Definitely great to have a duplicate just in case. Hope this helps! Great value. Works good but the volume needs you to click it one at a time. You can't hold the volume down and have it keep going up or down you need to click the volume up one at a time. Not sure if its a TV or version issue or what.

Update: it was after all my fault as I ordered the wrong serial number. Remotes were not damaged and as I mentioned what appeared brand new. If you order make sure it is the right remote serial number for your tv, as they all look similar but will not work properly if the remote number is not for your tv. You can find it inside your battery cover. IF YOU DO NOT YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF CLICKING THE BUTTONS MULTIPLE TIMES FOR IT TO WORK AND FAST FORWARD. YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF ANGRY AND ANNOYED BECAUSE OF THE LAGGING AND DELAYED RESPONSE. THE REMOTE IS NOT JUNK, YOU JUST ORDERED THE WRONG SERIAL NUMBER. TRUST ME, I MADE THAT MISTAKE, BUT FIGURED IT OUT.

The product provides a better texture than the original unit that came with my Samsung 55-inch Smart TV. Setup required only putting in the two AAA batteries. However, it does not operate the same as the OEM remote control in that holding down a button or continuing to press a toggle will not continue the desired action. If you want to go from, say, Volume Level 15 to 25, you must press the Volume toggle 10 times. For the OEM unit, holding any button or toggle continues the action until the desired level is reached. All my identical OEM Samsung remote controls have this feature. It was exactly this function having failed for one of the toggles on my original unit that motivated the purchase. I am returning the unit and trying again with a different product.
