Time Fades Away was the first live album released by Neil Young. He is backed on the album by The Stray Gators, the band who played on Harvest, and including the superb musicians Ben Keith, Jack Nitzsche, and Tim Drummond. David Crosby and Graham Nash are special guest musicians. The album followed the release of Young’s hugely successful album Harvest, and when it was released in 1973 it featured all previously unreleased songs. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of this album the track “The Last Trip To Tulsa” (originally released as a B-side to the 1973 single of “Time Fades Away”) has been added to the album. This limited-edition LP is pressed on clear vinyl.

The copy I received played through without issue, however.
The record tracked without issue, the only thing I did notice was a slight warp to the record, luckily it did not affect playback adversely. I love this album so I was worried that it was going to be a bumpy ride. The sound quality was definitely better than the original for me.

Classic.
One of my top 5 Neil Young albums, so I had to buy this clear vinyl reissue. The album is great as always, and the bonus track is a great addition.

Great Neil Young Record... Check Your Copy Out When You Get It Though
Great Neil Young album, however the first time I ordered I got a severely warped, unplayable copy. I returned that one and ordered another one. Second record still had a mild warp but was playable. Seems there are some pressing plant issues with this specific title.

Maybe one day when I have a record player, I can enjoy this :D
Until then... I'll just admire it and keep it out of my wife's way.

dished/ warped
Unfortunately the LP is very warped and dished. Package *looks* nice. This is just too common now. As someone who has been buying LPs since the 70s, I can confidently state that quality control across the industry is just horrible.

Murky cover photo
The record comes in a paper inner sleeve instead of a poly-lined sleeve like Led Zeppelin IV's recently released 50th anniversary pressing, which is also on clear vinyl. The cover is a very bad reproduction photo: mine is very murky in comparison to the bright original. The enclosed lyric sheet is HUGE and cumbersome. Finally, for some reason, the opening is placed awkwardly at the top, rather than the side.

A great release
I amazed at how much clearer this vinyl is compared to a nm copy of the original release. Great price too

Favoloso
Intatto.
