This great device has many uses, allows you to Watch TV, whilst recording camcorder or satellite. Stereo phono outputs for connecting to a Hi-Fi system. Also Composite RGB and S-Video compatible. Switch easily and quickly without disconnecting your scart leads weather its a DVD player VCR or your favorite gaming console.

Many problems.
I've been playing around with it further, and would no longer recommend this item.Originally I believed the problem I was having with this item, of a rolling band of light/colour moving across the screen every few seconds, was affecting only one console in one mode - but I have now noticed this effect also occurring (albeit more faintly) for other systems hooked up. It varies in degrees of intensity depending if outputing rgb or not (particularly bad if not), and settings on the TV (sadly much more apparent if I enable game-mode, without which my tv otherwise seems to attempt to clean up this signal problem with some success).I can just plug the cable directly into the TV itself and all these problems go away, but then I have to deal with cable hell and that's a shame because this did help deal with that, but these problems...

Got this for my son who has a bunch of games consoles on one TV. Can now get 4 consoles through 1 scart. Works fine and would recommend it.
