This is a bit dependent upon your cabinet. Wires can be run in channels but are typically run behind face frames to be out of sight. **Q: Is the material for the housing made of aluminum or steel? The finish is described as "brushed steel" but Armacost's website says aluminum.** A: Thank you for your interest in Armacost Lighting. This product is constructed from aluminum. Brushed Steel is a term used for the look applied to the finish. **Q: What are the dimensions? Not sure what "0.8 x 2.8 x 0.8 inches" means nor if it's referring to the box. 2.8 inches diameter?** A: I have 8 of these under my kitchen cabinets. They measure 2.75 inches wide by 0.75 inches high and that is the dimension shown on the box. **Q: Do these come with wires or do i supply my own wires?** A: The puck lights come pre-wired with a 36", 18-2 AWG lead attached. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great-looking and functional light, suitable for our RV *by N***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2016* Functional and very nice looking under cabinet light that we're using as an over-sink light in our RV. I wish it was just a little brighter, but the color tone of the LED's and the look of it is exactly what we wanted. Easy to install, they came with connectors which we just cut off to direct wire it to existing wires. Overall, quite happy with the purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Cozy warm spot light and easy on the eyes *by P***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2019* Excellent warm lighting. I just installed them in my Sprinter van. Makes all the difference to have these warm spots bounce off the butcher block. So cozy now. The focused 60deg spot is great, you can look straight into the light from the side without being blinded. Exactly what I was looking for. I must admit I was hesitant spending the money because there are so many cheap versions out there but I am glad I did, it’s worth every penny. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Better quality than most *by P***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2017* Better quality than most. It is designed to be surface mounted but with some modification can be inset into a cabinet. Took some experimenting with the 1st one, but the next 7 were easy to modify and they look great built in & flush mounted. The lights must have the 12 volt power supply & since I was using 2 lights to every one power supply the cost of the power supply is an issue. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/55873301-armacost-lighting-213311-r0ecess-or-surface-mount-2700k-fully-dimmable](https://www.desertcart.be/products/55873301-armacost-lighting-213311-r0ecess-or-surface-mount-2700k-fully-dimmable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
