Awesome tool, great price!
Great product. I have used these for years for removing the outer shielding on CAT cable and they also work superbly in removing the shielding all types of other cable as well. I'm glad I found these to replace the old worn out and/or "lost" ones I had. Thaes little tools are great and the price is great.

not sure why people complaint
I was hesitant to get it after reading negative reviews but I am glad I got it. this little tool saved me tons of time installing cables for PoE cameras. Works great, simple to use, no separated blades like reviewers mentioned. I am still on the first tool after I used it like 30 times.

Convenient wire stripper when running CAT5
I use these a lot of use when I'm running CAT5 for network drops. They are a nice little tool to have on hand, and fit easily into a pocket

Old school is the best school!
Nobody uses these anymore. They use their fancy Klein all in one strippers or pliers, and pat you on the back and call you an old timer. Your cables don't short, they get fired and end up on the street. You get money, power and women. These are lies, of course, but the strippers are still really simple and efficient for low voltage wires, especially CAT5 or 6. If you do it right. Use the slot the next one up from the tightest, and do a few twirls. The jacket will come right off, and victory is yours. Plus you get 3 so you can give one to your friend and have a spare for when you lose it (or your so called friend "borrows" yours)

Does the job
I used one if these for the first time today, and it got the job done, but it's nothing to write home about. The blade came out of the plastic holder every time I punched a wire down and I had to shove it back in. I'll put a drop of super glue on it and see if that holds it in better. This tool will be OK for me because I replace Ethernet jacks very rarely, but if I had to do this weekly or more often, I'd get a more expensive tool.

Rigid, but that what makes them so accurate
It might be a little odd rating a minor plastic tool too often replaced by common scissors or a blade. I can't help it. We all learned the craft differently, and I learned it with one of these. Weletric Minis are rigid, almost too rigid but, that's what makes the cut so perfect, and never through the copper. In fact, just for kicks, I've closely examined the sheathing of the outter wire twists with a 10x magnifying and found NO cut, while the casing was completely cut through. That is impressive accuracy. They do take two seconds longer to position before twisting but, it's worth it, to me. They are far less likely to break as the cheaper, more flexible yellow jobbers.

Great deal
Great deal for the cost.

Functional
Use yellow lever to open jaws. Insert wire. Make a circle (or most of one, the shield isn't thick) and pull off. There are two little tines that I assume can be used to spare your fingernails if you care about that.
