I love this marshmallow powder, so far it does what its supposed to do, i think the quality is good. I am not sure what authentic marshmallow powder looks like but the color of this powder is brown and i have had slightly green in the past. The texture is very fine, easy to use and all natural ingredient.

I bought this to use for gut health for a horse and within a week of use, he went from being girthy about saddling and sensitive to grooming over his belly/flank area back to his normal, happy self. It is a super light/fine powder so it's dusty, but I wet his grain down and he hasn't had a problem with it. The smell is very earthy and rather potent but it's working well and he's happy. As a horse supplement, it's definitely a good value. Definitely recommend for equine gut health.

I use Marshmallow root in a laxative mix that I encapsulate for my friends and family. Along with Cascara Sagrada, it acts as a buffer against cramping, and also works as a stool softener. So much better than OTC laxatives that work only by causing the colon to spasm. This will help the user to develop a regular habit of evacuating every day. The herb was clean and appeared to be fresh. Would recommend.

Marshmallow Root for my dog's reverse sneezing; seems to be helping a lot! 1/2 teaspoon mixed with wet food and kibble for all 3 of them and the shortest critter is down to having 1-2 episodes a day... as opposed to all day/night. Hopefully with prolonged use it will stop completely.

There's no mucilage, I bought marshmallow for the mucilage to sooth dry mouth and other internal tissues. Also for hair which this doesn't detangle. It seems a little burnt. I should have noticed that it says extract, I thought it would be ground root. Maybe in the process of making extract and then powder the mucilage was lost and the product burnt. I avoid processed food so this was a mistake for me.
