Care Bears: Flower Power

My 3 1/2 year old grand-daughter loves it! She watches it over and over! Glad I made the purchase, and, I highly recommend!

With a total of eight episodes this DVD has plenty of content.The episodes are "Flower Power","Luck o'the Oopsy,Heatwave,Erased,Bubbles,Harmony Unplugged,Belly Blanked,and Good Knight Bedtime. My personal favorite is Harmony Unplugged,Harmony let's her singingtalents go to her head. For Share fans (I'm one)she is featured in "Flower Power" and "Heatwave". "Good Knight Bedtime" will delightyou Bedtime Bear fans. True Heart really shines in "Harmony Unplugged". This DVD has something for everyone who is a fan of The AICAL Bears.I even liked the DVD cover,with nice art work of Share and Cheer.

This is our 2nd dvd of the new care bears. I have to say they are way cuter than the old ones. The best part is that the "bad guy" is not half as scary. In fact, in this movie, he doesn't even have his robot suit so Grizzle is just a cute little care bear with a bad attitude :)I used to watch the old care bears when I was little, and I whole-heartedly approve of my child watching this now.

Quality is good, although I'm watching just on my Kindle Fire, so the screen is much smaller than a regular televsion. I do think the price should be lowered since there is no packaging fees. With iTunes albums are often cheaper than when bought in a regular store. I think digital copies of movies through Amazon should be the same.

My two year old is completely addicted to Care Bears. This particular video offers strong moral lessons without being heavy handed and no scary parts. I mention this because Care Bears Movie 2 scared her at times with its villain Dark Heart. You won't find any of that in this one.
